Ive been Subscribed and I've watched your reviews for a LONG time. And although I haven't seen EVERY video you've ever done... I've NEVER seen you grab your magnifying mirror, turn the light on, put it a half inch from your face, and get THAT close to the camera. Like I'm sure it's not intentional, but it irks when I see people give ESPECIALLY critical examinations and critiques to black owned brands. When they don't general analyze, so closely or harshly, brands owned by white men.

I had no idea this brand was black owned brand so this is not a correct assumption you've made. I've deff watched all my videos, many times - I get close up when it's hard to tell that it's breaking apart. On top of that, I don't at any point say that I hate the foundation or that I don't recommend it. If you also watch my videos I'm very vocal and highly critical of brands that do not cater to black skin. I speak about it all the time both on and off camera. In addition to that, I am always evolving and changing my content, I've had requests to get close to the cam when things don't look good and I'm going that. Please do not make such generalizations and assumptions - this is not especially critical, this is my same level of analyzation and any assumed notions you had of my attacking a black brand are unfounded.

Mac released new shades of their face and body foundation, but they've stated that the formula is still the same. I'd really appreciate a review on it because 1. I trust your reviews, but also 2. The shades they show in the swatches as well as the color of the bottle, look different from the models they use for the shades. I'm lighter than you but I still use you as a shade reference, I just go anywhere from 2-4 shades down. If you can get it in canada of course :)

I think it’s good for the price point. The only problem I had is shade matching online. I got TG6 and to exchange it for TG5. I also got TN3 because my skin is light right now because it is spring (no sun yet). It didn’t move on me so much. You can’t get full coverage with this one. The more you apply the more It’ll move. A little goes a long way.

Can you review the new radiance MAC Face and Body? I tried to get the LYS foundation during the sale but my shade was sold out. The blush looks good too, but all sold out lol 😝

It's super camera friendly... I'm oily and I do see slight separation but it's very natural looking.

Omg, I had the same experience! I thought it was just me because other people had great experience with this foundation. And I wanted to love this so much because it looks so good from afar. But up close it looks pretty meh... like, it never sinks into my skin. I am thoroughly underwhelmed!

Similar for me. I don’t have oily skin but it slid around or disappeared. ‘Too finicky’ is a great description for it.

I think the coverage is going to be to light on me, meaning I have melasma on both my cheeks... I mean, I do like natural finishes but it must include more coverage. Thanks to this video, I will definitely try the Shiseido Long Radiant Fndtn as is going to have more coverage than LYS's.🤷‍♀️ It'll be more pricey but definitely better for my skin tone needs.
