Yessss! Awesome 👏I love both of these foundations and I can’t pick between them. I have sentimental reasons for loving LYS other than the fact that it’s a great foundation. on the other hand Kosas didn’t come to play either and I am so proud of our black and also female owned brands who are slaying the game in what used to be a male dominated industry (ironically). I’m here for it all. But this was a fun battle of the beauty brands(that’s what you should call it from now on😜) Nice job!👏

Both sides look beautiful, but I prefer the LYS side. It’s the hydration for me (especially during the winter months). Thanks for the comparison video!

The shade match of the Kosas is awesome for you. I can't really tell any other differences between them. I have oily skin but I can't seem to put the LYS down. It sinks into the skin so well. I'm excited to see how it wears in the winter. I tried the Kosas but returned it. I ordered the wrong shade online and it settled into my fine lines. Great video!

I tried to jump on the “glowy, luminous, hydrating finish foundation” train but what looks healthy and glowy on you and others just looks sweaty on me!! 😱😱😭😭😭😭. I end up having to put on extra powder to get me not to look like I was out in the garden all morning lol.

The Kosas side matches you better. It’s also very smooth on you too, but that could be because the color is so perfect on you. The LYS looks very hydrating on you though. I like both on you. This is a tough one. Lol. I am really dry, I’m thinking to give LYS a try. I’m skipping on trying the Kosas for myself. But, 2 Sephora stores I went to, don’t carry LYS, which surprised me.

They both look beautiful on you! I have a thing for a hydrated look, too. The finish on the Kosas looks great but the skin tint was quite dehydrating on my dry skin, so based on your comments about who it might work best for, I'd definitely go for the LYS Beauty.

I have these on my wishlist, really appreciate your reviews. Im just waiting for the Kosas to be available in Australia & the LYS concealer so I can order the whole set from Cult Beauty (Australia Sephora isn’t even a fraction of the US). Both sides looked amazing

What a great foundation battle! LYS is one of my favs from last year, it’s what I reached for in the winter. In the summer it was a little slippy so I gave it a break. I do like how Kosas is sitting on your skin. If it’s going to do better with oilier skin this may be the foundation for me in the summer. I’m excited to give this a try because I am a fan of their face tint.

I really like the tone of the Kosas side, it just looks so natural and in my opinion, everyday friendly. Out of curiosity, do you have a preference between the concealers and setting powders for LYS/Kosas?

I’m actually comparing the concealers from LYS and Kosas, so that video will be up Tuesday. For powder, I prefer the Kosas powder over the LYS one. But, I do enjoy the LYS Powder.

@@GlamGirlChelsea I finally picked up a sample from Sephora today. I'm trying to decide between the Fenty Eaze Drop foundation. I did a side by side comparison and my 12 yro daughter picked the Kosas side. She said, "hands down the Kosas side". I will admit, the Kosas side was beautiful.

I've been wanting to see this compared to Nars! I personally preferred the LYS side it just looked so hydrated and reflective. Would you say the LYS is similar to the Nars Light Reflecting foundation?
