I use print to size app on my iPhone you can easily add photos crop, mirror etc no margin setting you just drag to sizes you need for each image

I do realize this video is a few months old, but man it helped a lot. Been using CD for water slides and have been so frustrated because I lose so much material. I personally like HIIPOO WATERSLIDE but for a car window it might make more sense to do a transparent vinyl for a longer last and easier removal

I want to put a picture on a matte finish tumbler from Walmart. I want the picture to cover the whole tumbler except the silver lips on the top and bottom. Would water slide paper work on the matte finish of the tumbler? I have never used water slide paper before. Thanks.

Yes that could work! I would prep the cup with a gloss clear spray paint before yiu apply your waterslide. Sometimes the matte feeling can make the edges show more under epoxy of your waterslide

Hi! I loved you tutorial! I'm new to water slide decals and it seemed a bit daunting but you explained it so clearly I can't wait to get started. Quick question: is it necessary to seal it with epoxy after application? I want to use it on a glass mug that has a custom made sleeve and I can't add too much thickness to the mug. Any insights you can give me will be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻

It’s not necessary to seal with epoxy! you could use the instruction on the back that show how to bake the image on option if using ceramic mug! Or you could use a mod podge sealer over the image but that could cause a slight cloudiness on clear glass

Hi there! So that depends if you seal it with epoxy. In this video I sealed the whole cup with epoxy so it will last for years. If I did this on a coffee cup and baked it on. It would last a good while but eventually it would start to crack and peel like any other printed on mug over time with daily use.

Hello, Can you use sublimation ink for water slides… very nice

Thank you! Sublimation ink will bot be vibrant enough. Sub ink will also look dull until heat is introduced to the print therefore the waterslide would look dull and not very bright

You cannot put epoxy cups in the dishwasher as it will ruin your epoxy and the design. These cups should be hand washed only. If you applied waterslide to a mug and baked per the direction it’s the same thing recommended to hand wash only because the high heat of a dishwasher can ruin your design

Yes!! Using a flat brush is the best way to help get out the air and bubbles at the water trapped under the waterslide. You can find them in the make up section of your local dollar tree!

You can use any mug. If you are going to epoxy I would prep bit of you are using a ceramic mug and just baking the waterslide on than you don’t need to prep other than to clean the mug .

So sublimation ink is for when you are going to apply heat to an item that is for sublimation. From what I know about sublimation ink, that ink appears duller on paper and becomes vibrant when pressed with ink. Since waterslide paper would not be able to withstand heat I would think that the image would look dull and possibly not as vibrant.

I usually print two because just in case one messes up so I end up having some extra so I put them in a folder and honestly forget about them 😩 🤦🏽‍♀️ so when I do find them, it can be a couple months and I’m like can I use them?!?! I really like the white waterslide. They look great. I’m always struggling with a bleach spot 😂 to add a waterslide on a darker background. I LOVE the cup. Yes I mean i have used mine up to a couple of months after and they have worked just fine! Not sure how long they truly last but I think I might do some testing and see how long they last or if there is any deterioration after a certain period of time

Yes this can be drank right out of. It’s sealed with epoxy so it’s long lasting as well
