Lytle Creek & Blue Ridge - 4x4 Transit Van, Camping and Hiking

Weekend camping and hiking around Lytle Creek (San Bernardino National Forest) and Blue Ride (Angeles National Forest) in the Quigley Transit 4x4. Highlights included the massive dry riverbed at Stockton Flat and the deep cuts of the San Andreas Fault that severs the mountains. Off road most of the way on pretty tame fire roads with the exception of very rocky and rutted dry riverbeds that must be traversed several times to access upper Stockton Flat requiring high clearance, low-range 4x4
