Thanks for the ride-along. I haven’t been up The Creek in about a year and haven’t been past the firing range for many years. When I did make it to the gate, it was always locked so I never got to run the entire course. Nice to see what it looks like - a day lit ride would have made it more clear. Seems like this would be a quick zip through on a bike.

Please notice the fire restriction sign at the gate... People ignoring these signs are why we have wildfires. Every time I go up there, someone is having a fire. The rangers are too lazy to patrol or, claim they don't have vehicles that can get back there. BS a stock 2 wheel drive with a competent driver can get to Stockton flats. A stock 4x4 can get to 90% of what's left.

haha times have changed.. now days alot of people like going offroading at night. We have awesome off road lights that are super bright. and if you get into trouble at night, you'll always see a fellow offroader on the trail willing to help you out.. Oh! and most people on the trail are packing heat so no one is getting raped lol

so maybe someone knows? why is Lytle creek opened so soon after the fire yet they shut down all of Santiago mountain. fire didnt make it to maple truck springs. they could have just closed main divide and the south half n left noth half open but the closed the whole mountian to all traffic and hiking till oct 5th 2025?

@@DexOffroad id do Lytle creek but hear there lots guys that shoot out there. n well dogs not that keen on the loud bangs ever since king hammer couple yrs ago when some drunk pos set a mortor off on the ground and flew strait into our camp site n blew up right front the dogs. now they permtinly scared of loud bangs. if my dogs cant go i dont go just that simple.
