I have a SwissTool X and may add a Spirit XC to the collection & rotation. Impressive quality and finishing on these tools; better than the Leatherman Rebar i had.

Indeed! When I saw the Leatherman in person and held them, they felt cheap. Some functions are cool, specially from the Wave which has the main tools accesible with one hand... But the quality as you say, is for sure inferior. This swistool I have in the video has more than 7 years and I put it to good use... Not one scratch and not one single sign of rust (I take care of them but not baby them)

My first Victorinox SwissTool is 22 years old. It is still in great shape. I have a newer SwissTool, and two SwissTool Spirits. Absolutely high quality!

Haha yes is a great one, I wanted to get the previous model though, I think is the swistool X. For sure not ergonomic but I like the bigger scissors and the rule on the outside 😁

For my it's heavy inusfule things.For me inaf only one simply knife and I can do anything😉.Remove insulation from the cable and use like screwdriver. Anything.

True! Sadly carrying a knife alone is not allowed in many cities.

Yes! Similar in the features, I'm not sure in the quality. I never had the chance to get the Leatherman live.

Just from the quality Victoinox beats Leatherman for sure. I had both for many years. If you don’t have a specific reason to go with a leatherman (some features are not offered by Voctorinox) go with a Victorinox (my advice is the Sprit because the Swiss Tool X model is a bit rough to work with the blade because of the sharpe edges on the handle)

I didn't have them side by side, because after seeing the Leatherman was not good enough for me to buy it. So I agree, the only thing I like about the Leatherman is the knife accees in the Wave.
