I haven't done a real build like this in some time now. Hopefully you guys enjoy, I'll be posting more frequently now, I was going through some things over the part few weeks. You can hear my throat progressively getting better during this video over the course of a week lol. I'm thinking about bringing back some adventures with jimmy films as well, comment below if you'd like to see some.

Zee Toys put out diecast vehicles from the show in the 70s. I found some in a small grocery store in the early 80s for less than a dollar, I remember I never had more than loose change back then. I bought the iconic rescue chopper and nice looking period accurate 50s ambulance van. I wanted the truck like you built, but the store didn't have any, those toys hung on the toy rack for some time. Nice memories of stopping by that little store on my way home from school. Wish I kept the toys.

Tip on filling in gaps with CA glue- sprinkle a little baking soda in there. It dries it almost instantly and fills it at the same time.

M.A.S.H. is a REALLY good show-especially once you get a few seasons in. it's very much worth getting into. I love how this came out. I've always loved old military vehicles. Especially ambulances. My aunt was a nurse during the Vietnam war and we always used to watch the show together.

Henry made me me cry. So did Hawkeye's chicken. MASH did comedy well, but it did tragedy even better. Edit: I wonder what people today would think of Klinger's idea of crazy.
@skylx08122 жыл бұрын
Whenever it came to instructions, my family picked up on the _"But first, disconnect the..."_ line from the episode where Hawkeye and Trap had to disarm an unexploded bomb in the compound. My brothers used to say that a lot when working on our truck.
@PerspectiveEngineer2 жыл бұрын
It glorifies war that's why I quit watching it 40 years ago.
@bradleyj.fortner22032 жыл бұрын
@@PerspectiveEngineer Glorifies war? You've obviously never seen much of it. It's literally the opposite of that. If MASH had one consistent theme, it's that war is hell. You could say the made light of it, because of the humor. But, that would be wrong as well. The humor was used as a defense mechanism. A way to get through Hell with your sanity intact. It was brilliant. You clearly have the wrong idea about it.

The styrene strip broke because CA glue gets very hot as it cures - it's an exothermic reaction that gets even hotter if you use accelerator. I've used CA to seal up cuts, and it gets damn hot. You should try 'Plastic Weld'. I only use that, and Tamiya Extra Thin plastic cement. Lovely build. That Power Wagon is a thing of beauty. Nice one.

When the clearcoat turns blue,you stop.... I remember from previus video,but it shows good on this model. Exersizing is important,i try to do it 3-4 times å week,and i work as å mason/tiler. Get yourself a bike/rowing machine/threadmill and blast through 30min ewery mornig. My step goal is between 10 and 12 thousand å day. 30 min runing gives about 3000. Also bodyweight training is good to,do pushups,star jumps,sqats,running at the same spot with high knelifts, you get your heart pumping and get in better shape. Good luck,hope it helps and looking forward to future videos

You have to ventilate your house, esp your work space where you use all those chemicals and paint. Also, you have to spend more time outside in the sun. This is why you're getting sick, not enough sun and fresh air. Eating better helps too, fresh veggies and fruits. Congratulations on quitting smoking and consuming less alcohol. Good ambulance! I like how the front bumper doesn't look perfect, it's seen some of it's own trauma.
