Definitely great news, but I don't do, and the same time partially do, understand why Haslow cannot produce this toyline themselves. I hate how this company is being run, how they've been destroying a wide variety of IPs they've accumulated over the decades, and what damage they've caused to the toy industry worldwide, not only in the USA.

The Mask I had as a kid was Condor, Boulder Hill, Switchblade, Firefly, Stinger & Pit Stop Catapult. But now I have add Rhino, Raven, Hurricane and Slingshot. I can’t wait to see the new releases. Would be cool to see new modern vehicles for the original ones.

I was a car, truck, bike and jeep nut since I was born so as a kid, M.A.S.K. was a dream come true. Rhino will always be my all-time favorite and I still have my original one, but I'm looking forward to this line. I really hope they give us a gently updated Bolder Hill that retains all the features of the classic, but adds some size and more versatility.

Years ago, I was buying joytoy figs at this M.A.S.K. size, but that got more & more expensive. ...absolute favorite M.A.S.K. toy?? 🤔 That's a tough question, as I had nearly them all. My parents had divorced and it was almost like every other week I went to my dad's place, I got a new toy to play with. Raven definitely looked cool, as it could serve as a modern K.I.T. or K.A.R.R. with the spoiler that could pop up with the thrusters. Orange shooting discs from the front, folding wheels for a pseudo hover mode, and door wings to fly _(yeah, my imagination didn't just keep him to skim over water like the box art 😅)_

A new shelf replacement for Thunderhawk, a replacement for my partially broken Jachammer and finally getting my hands on Switchblade to complete the first series poster of toys. All I need but I can't wait to see. Might grab Firecracker too, we'll see :P As for fave M.A.S.K toy? Raven. That paintjob was so 80's, it's combat form looked and transformed amazing. Calhoun looked great as a figure. Beautiful toy. Hurricane was certainly a fave of mine too, that paintjob again was sweet! Also - Did you know that Stinger and Hurricane were made into Transformers? they had micromasters made as a homage to them in a Generations selects multipack.

I’m here in Japan where Takara (now Takaratomy) has created amazing replicas of 1980’s vintage toys, Transformers, which I own. They must definitely do the same for this MASK line, give us exact reissues of the original ones, even if the plastics used will be different but technically it doesn’t need to be, again using the Japanese example using similar plastics to the ‘80’s was done repeatedly. I can’t wait to see these reveals. I grew up with MASK toys and cartoon.

I'm cautiously excited for these new toys. I loved them as a kid (Slingshot being my favorite) and have been hunting these down on ebay. I say cautiously excited because I'm worried about overall quality. It would be easy for these to be cheaply made and over-priced. I'm not expecting them to be cheap, but I want the quality to be worth the cost.

Once again, the return of M.A.S.K. is great news indeed. Reissues with upgrades sounds good. Some, like Switchblade, have design flaws. The clips that hold the wings to sides for helicopter mode are broken on mine. That design is wonky in general. I have a lot of the vehicles, but maybe some of them I don't have can be reissued. I hope they make the Shark and maybe even some all new stuff would be cool. Updated figures would be cool, too.. Hurricane is up there as one of my favorites. So creative and unexpected that you get a tank from a 57 Chevy. I also love Raven, Piranha, and Bulldog.

I always wanted the Rhino, but the only vehicle I own is the Condor (love me a good helicopter) and is still probably my favorite. I also own three of the "Adventure" packs (the single figures with converting backpacks and accessories). If this new line is as good as/better than the originals, I'm going to be getting them. Don't know where I will store them, but I will get them.

Who are they targeting for with these "upgraded" versions of these toys?, unless these toys are 100% faithful to the originals, i'm not THAT interested, again, we fans WANT WHAT WE HAD/SAW/WANTED/NEVER HAD back then, it's not that complicated to understand, if the manufacturers re launch exact copies of the originals everybody will be even more interested in these toys, we don't want more joints, other designs, etc, we want the exact SAME TOYS. RIP my wallet, my favourite MASK vehicle was the VENOM Stinger (Pontiac GTO that turned into a tank), Sadly by the time I got into these as a child the only place to get them was places like car boot sales, flea markets, etc. So I only ever managed to find a handful usually with pieces missing and a VHS of the series, all lost to time now, but looking forward to possible picking a few of these up depending on prices.

I think the Diaclone Reboot from Takara was the perfect template for how Hasbro should move forward with this. Those tiny Dianauts r perfect for a reboot. Heck u could transfuse the whole line into MASK like tf did in the 80s

What made MASK so enduring was its amazing engineering. There has never been a toy like it. In recent years any reissue from hasbro they have cut corners. Star Wars toys no longer come with sounds/lights. Same with Mattel and MOTU. Unless they have all the specs from kenner I don’t see them reinventing the wheel to give collectors the exact copy. For sure these toys will be very expensive. They weren’t very cheap in 1985 either.
