One of my favorite JonTron videos, I'd not only because I used to have a lot of these Plug and Play things as a kid and find it nostalgic I also tried to find some of the ones he showed in the video for laughs and regret it deeply

8:35 honestly i remember seeing these at the small store where I bought bootleg yet accurate Yu-Gi-Oh booster packs every once in a while when I was like 5 to 7, and i remember thinking "those are obviously fake but for people like me whose family is closer to being poor than to being rich, those rock, bc you get variety, I'd rather have 3 super heroes, a car, shrek and a power ranger than a full set of 6 shrek characters or cars characters"

I had some plug n play games as a kid. I had a Namco one that had Pac-Man, Galaxian, and others, wheel of fortune, Frogger, and 2 Sega ones (one had Sonic 1, golden axe, and others. And another one had Sonic 1 and 2, spinball, and Dr. robotnik’s mean bean machine)

I had the one Jon said was just Spider-Man's penis. It wasn't terrible, it had that Spider-Man game where you hunted down the lizard in the sewers, but what the goal was was to shoot the random bombs lizard had hidden in the maze of sewers. It was endless and horrible. Its all for making high scores before the time ran out and the bombs on the stages exploded. 😂

Ironically X-Box Live service is the oldest and started in 2002, though you couldn't download full games until Xbox 360.

Xbox live was around during halo 2 launch but it was annoying to play online since most people can barely afford internet

I had a whole mess of these plug-n-play consoles. I'm a retro-game enthusiast and I super-dug the Namco and Atari ones. Some of the licensed ones were decent like Spongebob and Disney. The Jakks-Pacific ones, specifically. The ones made by AtGames were all fucking terrible.

I never really bothered with these knockoffs. I'd rather play the old Atari 2600,Intellivsion,or Colecovision than these poor excuses for video games back in the day. Poor Oona. She ascended from the ethereal plane of ghostly existence to the Pearly Gates. St. Peter is going to be in for extreme shock when Othaia shows up to retrieve Oona pointing out they made a huge mistake.
