6:35 mountain roads or roads in cold climate suffer from "telehiv" or frost heave. A phenomenon where differential frost heaving can crack road surfaces, contributing to springtime pothole formations etc. Does not matter if the surface is new or not.

It's difficult to drive anywhere in that part of norway without having to stop every 5 mins to look at the scenery. It is all jaw-dropping. It would be interesting to see an overview map of your route, if you have time to make one up.

@@MDrives I was in Iceland last year, we drove around the whole island in two weeks in a camper. Loved the nature so much and also that it does not get dark in the summer months. And the upper part of Norway is as much north as Iceland. Yeah, no volcanic stuff in Norway but still, it's on my list now. Thanks and looking forward to the next video.

@@MDrives You are absolutely right. Many are a little scared of driving such a long tunnell (the longest in the world) and might need to have a break

​​@@MDrives it is not allowed. It was a media story of this. Norwegian trafic regulation says no stopping inn tunnels. Even though many stops there for the great photography reasons. But if you are caught you are fined like 1000 euros. I Like your videos very much, having driven all of theese myself. The only sad thing about driving here is the extremely low speed limits, much police with speed cameras, high fines from 500 euros an up. And of course the slow trafic in front makes it difficult to enjoy some streches of road. Point is you dont need M cars because of this. I did my trip in a van, but i would love to have done it in a M6
