If anyone is interested, there is a brilliant fan fiction called 'Different from the rest" by Anders Als Die Anderen on Archive of our Own which has an exceptionally well written sequel to to Elisabeth and Manuela's story and it is glorious. You will need to translate it from the original German it was written in (fitting for the story itself) but it is VERY worth it. It gave them an incredible follow on. I would not be surprised if it was written by a famous writer under a pseudonym it is that well told
