The game still works, there are still new mods, people still like playing. (My self included) and yet there is so much hate, because they didn't add more before release. Edit: left a like.

It's nice see you come back to this game. I basically discovered you through this game. Sad it never picked up the same pace as SE, it had potential. Tho I still don't understand the dev's choice on having compound building only in this game. They could take those ideas and learn from their mistakes and improve the game that is doing good, why they chose to do it this way is beyond me.

Yep... bought SE and ME cause of Epik... as well as some others games( Empyrion & interstellar Rift but less than 5 hour of play time :s) And i did play ME quite a lot at some point but not much update and so i'm only at 136H of play... Kinda though it was definitely dead... maybe they'll manage to give it a 2nd life... SE is great... except then i don't have much time to play, and then i do for some time (1 or 2 week into a new game) there happen to be an update and broken mods making it so that i don't wanna go to this same world while i'm waiting for mods update and... then they are updated i'm usually busy irl for some time... rince and repeat... Anyway end of my ramble... (for info i'm at more than 2K hour in SE...)

I miss medieval engineers so bad. I had such a badass colony, and i'm really sad when I heard they discontinued development. I hope to god they keep the servers online for a long time. I just love the game.

if you want, theres a pretty active discord community or two (Medieval Industrialists, and PNL) for the game that can help with any mods you might use, especially trains :D but also including planes, tanks, ships, you name it, as long as you have the mods for it of course. (the PNL modpack encompasses all of this and is built for World-War scenarios, but can also just be used for goofing around with any of these on their own.) EDIT: and of course, I remember I actually messaged you about playing M.E again, its good to see you back in!

If they switch to the PNL Modpack now, there may be problems with additional ores we used. Though manually adding 'More Minerals on Water in ME' mod should solve that particular problem without affecting existing builds. Ores will still generate properly in unmodified chunks.

i revisit this game from time to time myself... i so wish Keen would have done more... including adding features from Space Engineers as well as adding features in Medieval Engineers to Space Engineers.... also wish some of the mods for ME were fixed and updated as many of them often go bonkers now.... including the rail mods

honestly its revolutionary having all the mods used in the PNL modpack now. last season in PNL was pretty fun with a world war

Most mods work just fine at the moment... The rails mod is one of the most stable. You probably made a mistake somewhere along the way. Feel free to join the Medieval Industrialists Discord and we can help you out... You can find it in the description of many of the train-related mods.
