But I'm going to be turning the entire interior off my asteroid into a MASSIVE labyrinth... I'm estimating it to be 30 or more floors high. It's gonna be 2 L space cores wide, 2 L space cores high, and 2 L space cores deep. I've only got one trap room done right now. Pop into my Twitch stream sometime and I'll show you what i got going on. Screw escape room. Escape asteroid is more like it.

I just tried to install TIM and found it is broken and the developer is no longer supporting it. There seems to be some forks of TIM but I am not sure what to use, perhaps you could do an Updated Update?

I have a mod for this game that adds a gravel sifter, which eats gravel and finds minute amounts of useable ore. It’s not much, only about .01 percent of any ore per like 100 gravel, but every little bit helps, especially when you’re taxed for metals. Plus stone gives a good amount of iron, silicon, and nickel on its own, so it all adds up.

Love this new series! I remember years ago watching your last series! I cant wait to see what you do as you keep uploading! Makes me want to play again but I dont really have a pc to play on anymore. Someday hopefully!

I had the same problem about the ducts and came to a simple conclusion: They need to be everywhere. and then, in a second layer also all over the place. even if i replace every hallway with them. They are where all the big emotions and timeless quotes happen, after all. Then again, i always get like that with a new dlcs most epic block...😅

great episode! just a few tipps: you don't need tb docklock, the event controller has 9 toolbars to trigger actions and reset velocity on pistons sets them to -0.5. ;)

Event controllers, like timer blocks, have 9 toolbars so you can put up to 9 actions in each slot. So you can do 9 things when the condition becomes true and 9 when it becomes false. Timers are only needed if you need to do more than 9 things or if you need to delay some action(s). Keep in mind that the timer block start action uses the delay you set in the control panel and trigger now ignores the delay and just immediately starts the actions. One of the big reasons for rotors to explode when you attach a head is that they are directional. The head has a 0 position just like the rotor. When you attach, the rotor immediately tries to turn the head to its current position and if something tries to stop it hard enough, it will explode. You might also be interested in a mod called "S - DuctGrate v2" that makes the grate for the Willis ducts an actual door.

Can't stand time lapses, they are for people with no more patience than that of a knat!

I am usually pretty fond of a well exposed thruster ball on industrial looking ships. but if you were to add another large for left and right or some side ions it would create enough room to pull the down thrusters up a bit. Right now it seems like you would need kinda long landing legs

No such kill as overkill! And I'm kind of surprised you didn't put your welder-crane on a similar sort of merge-system to the ship, with merge blocks and connectors so you could just, pop it off, and place it somewhere else. Honestly, if the crane had a mag plate attached beneath the welder, and a battery somewhere on it, it could probably work to move itself and redeploy as needed, instead of needing to use a smaller vehicle to haul it around. Crane locks onto grid using mag plate. Disconnect merge block and connector baseplate. Use the crane to shift the baseplate over into a different 'station' connection for the baseplate. Then reconnect, and de-magnetize.

Be careful with contracts. You gain reputation with a faction, but you also lose in total more with its enemy actions, and eventually limit which factions you can trade with. The only way to get back in their favour ends up being attacking space pirates.

I'm looking forward to this SMBT. Also, as a fellow Jeremy, it seems many of us love to watch time lapses. Keep that in mind for the building process if you so choose ;P I'm glad you're back, Epik!
