I always pay with credit cards at the pump (i.e. without going into the store) which is very quick and convenient. Even if you pay with cash before you pump, the store will give you change after you finish. As you can imagine, however, it takes so much in and out of the store and waiting in the line twice for each fill-up (unless you want to buy food/drink or use the restroom), I always use credit card. There are two states in the U.S., New Jersey and Oregon, that don't allow customers pump their own gas. In those two states, you have to wait for gas station employees to pump gas for you. However, you can still pay with credit card without going into the store.

加了就跑的人太多了吧，所以一定要你先付錢才按的出油來吧，哈哈。LA的治安也實在不敢領教，車門一定要鎖，我被路邊來討錢的黑人開過車門，差點沒嚇死。加油就自己估一下剩餘的油量，一般車子就用50公升的油箱來預估剩下多少，然後要加多少，麻煩的只是那邊是用加侖為單位，所以還要把我們習慣的公升換成加侖，然後去付錢，跟他說幾號站台，然後你的油槍就有油了，加完跳停就開車閃人。這樣加基本上不會剛好加滿跳停，但可以加到8、9成滿，還車的時候附近也一定有加油站，加的時候再多抓一點加，基本上幾天下來跟車子也熟了，會抓的比較準一點，而且還車他們不會真的這麼嚴格，差一點點油他們不會計較

You really don't know the US traffic law. The traffic law in US is varies from state to state, city to city. Do you know there are some junctions in some states or cities? There are a sign " NO RIGHT TURN ON RED". So, don't mislead the tourists unless you don't mind a ticket
