Man, this reminded me of my younger days in Arizona riding my Yamaha 850 Midnight Special all over the Southwest with camping gear loaded and a my Ivor Johnson 6-shooter on my hip. Using that wooden chair as a luggage carrier is ingenious. My favorite camping area was on the banks of St. Mary's Lake near Flagstaff, Arizona. Trout and pike were plentiful so food was never an issue. Only if I could relive my youth. Those of you still in your 20's, 30's, even 40's get off your sedentary butts and get outdoors, enjoy what God has given us...what memories could be generated lying on a couch?

Thank you for giving me a very interesting comment! I have imagined your journey by searching for images of "Yamaha 850 Midnight Special", "Southern Arizona" and "St Mary's Lake" in your story. Especially in the southern part of Arizona it will be a wonderful experience if you run in motorcycle with highly creative scenery not in Japan! I am very glad that there is such a thing in common with foreign people, I think that it is valuable thing nature gave. Your words enrich my heart, thank you! I want to continue delivering such images from now on.

Greetings from Germany...Im in my 20s nearly 30s and bought a VW T5 Van. Cheap, worked on it and made it into a camper. Visited beatifull Norway with my girls (one is a Husky ;)) Im still trying to make a tech career on the side though. One thing i can say about traveling is this: "Travel makes one modest, you see what a tiny place you occupy in the world." This struck me when we were in Jotunheimen National Park...truly a place worthy of Norse Gods.

Hi, 228Ghost228 Thank you for comments from Germany! VW Van is a very suitable vehicle for the image of the trip, Traveling with women and Norway is so wonderful! Fast forward to April 2020 and the world is in a Covid-19 crisis. I watched this video again and enjoyed it as much or even more than the first time. Japan is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I lived just outside of Tokyo as a young kid however still remember the beauty of Nikko Park, Mt. Fuji and the cherry blossom trees. I can still speak a few words of Japanese taught me by our maid, Yuki, and her beautiful daughter whom I had a crush on. We adventurers are really no different from each other and it would be awesome to share a camp with people from all over the world. Although we may speak hundreds of different languages, we all share a commonality with our adventures, our gear and our modes of getting to our destinations. To a different hippy, thank you my friend for sharing your wonderful adventure and beautiful country with us.
@d-hippy4 жыл бұрын
Hi.Alexander Weaver Welcome back ^^ Thank you again for the wonderful words in this crisis situation! Your Japanese memories and experiences are very loving. I'm glad you like Japan. . As you say, my camp experience has helped us find the tools that need the natural environment we meet there, create them at times, and let us learn to live. I don't want to forget that spirit and want to go to my destination.

I'v seen a lot of people doing all kind of outdoor and camping stuff, including my self! but you! you are on another level, everything seems artistic and chosen carefully!, the HONDA motor with its iconic logo!, the fijllraven clothes, the tent and the bags, the tarp and the gadgets, the colors and the spot, also the atmosphere! that's artisan my friend. by the way can you tell me what's the design name of your trousers?,I'v couldn't find it!.

Nice gear all around including your Honda enduro. OMG, nan is one of my most favorite breads and to eat it with a curried dish is phenomenal to say the least. You were killing me as I watched you eat your nan dipped in the three different curries. I never thought to carry a small grill with me on my motorcycle. Nice touch. It is really great to see people of other nations and cultures going outdoors and enjoying the same activities we Americans enjoy. Your video was tremendously enjoyable.
