From the previous videos, I believe that you have a non-turbo petrol car. The 2200 rpm funda is a pretty high rpm for a NA petrol car. Will give a better mileage with lesser rpm. The 2000+ rpm is for a turboed diesel car to keep the car in the turbo range and it depends on the turbo too, if its a VGT its usually its around 2500 or a linear turbo its ~2000rpm, so that the car is always in the boost range. Besides that always fuel normal fuel from a trusted COCO (Company Owned Company Operated) or LOA (Lorry Owners Association) bunks or pvt bunks like Shell. There are many methods to increase the mileage eve with decent speeds like push-glide, shifting at correct gear ratios etc

Regarding having more fuel in tank.. I have experienced opposite of what u have said.. I have Tata Nano Genx xt(petrol manual). It has DTE(distance to empty) feature which shows the no. of kms that the car can run with the current amount of fuel in the tank.. My observation is whenever the fuel tank is almost full or slightly less, the DTE reading reduces slowly (e.g. while driving at 50-60 kmph DTE reading reduces by 1 when 2.5-3 kms are covered) while it reduces faster when lesser fuel is available (it reduces by 1 when 800-900 metres are covered)... And this is a frequent behavior. So does this mean that having more fuel gives better fuel economy? Also the vibrations increase slightly when I switch on the AC. Is this normal? Are these vibration harmful for the life of the engine?

This is general physics. More power is needed to pull more weight. So more weight will burn more fuel. DTE also depends on several other factors. Yes, a bit of vibration is normal. :)

Tyre pressure also plays very important role in mileage. Get rid of unwanted things in car those are adding to the weight unnecessarily. Drive in a highest possible gear for any given speed so that Engine does not stall and car remains just about in its power band.

first of all i want to say that mostly people don't have automatic ac so please stop talking about automatic ac things if u r talking about it ac then talk about both ac.... & second best speed is to get maximum mileage is 60...I have ford figo petrol 1.2 new gen & I've got 27kmpl on highway.... engine gives maximum mileage at between 1500-2000rpm... try to keep between it to get maximum mileage of car

after company claimed mileage, mileage mostly depend on driving skill. rash/unwanted accerelation, over rpm, over racing, frequent cluching, sudden breaking etc badly impacting on mileage. Always use AC on highway ( close windows). best optimum speed is 70-80kmph which gives higher mileage. choose best roads to drive if possible even its littlebit longer. keep time to time proper servicing. and last but most imp. is patience in accelerstion method, dont accelerate hard/rash. your driving skills is the main key factor to increase mileage.

Gagan Sir.. i purchased i20 elite in January 2017. it's mileage is too low it's only 11 kmpl in city and 13 on highway. many people say that it will get improved after 1st service.. but after 1st service also the mileage is same. what should I do...? And my another issue is Digital Fuel Meter when fuel tank is full.. the bars go down after very long running time.. means my car covers more distance when bars are full... but when petrol tank is half.. those bars goes down very quickly.. so there is always a confusion in digital fuel meter that how much exactl fuel is left.. plzz help me on this..
