The background story of this song is actually very very complicated. It has to do with ancient Japanese prostitutes(not just any prostitute, the one on the very top that doesn’t really do anything sexual). There are a lot of details in the mv including the way that he is walking(which is a special type of walk for the top prostitute walks. The girl in the restaurant. His earring changing from not having one to having one on the left to having it on the right ( In Japanese culture, having the earring on the left means you have someone to protect and if you have it on the right it means you are being protected. Kenshi had the earring on the left when the girl showed up I think and he had it on the right when the car came out to save him from the other car). The way he sang this song is kind of traditional Japanese singing. And also the first few seconds and the last few seconds are the same scene, indicating he is kind of trapped in an endless cycle.
