21日晚间，新加坡知名学者、资深外交官马凯硕在纽约亚洲协会与美国学者夏伟就中美关系与世界秩序展开激烈讨论。
当夏伟宣称中国变得越来越“自负和强势”时，马凯硕强调，西方应当接受中国复兴大国地位的现实，多数国家希望与中美同时搞好关系，美国不应居高临下地对别国进行评判。

The American guy is not like kindergarten student but is the actual adult who is so used to be on top of others, so used to be a control freak, so used to be a dictator telling what others should do or not to do. To control and to dominate is in the DNA of American foreign policies. It is shameless, arrogant, selfish, control freak and dictator. However, it is very good at using democracy and freedom as cover to hide its real evil objectives and characters.
