An amazing report, as a graduate student in related field, I misunderstand that how (called PSR right?) to realize wavepacket interference fringe in theory level? ps: The last two Q&A is interesting, I guess that's different between experiment and theory, haha

well defined methods of getting to 10-12 picokelvin? Can you link to that? How much does that cost? And, how does the potential pragmatic applications of this research contribute to the ROI of that investment (however theoretical that might be)?

It's called adiabatic laser cooling I think. But it is literally letting a vapor of atoms 'evaporate' in a vacuum with as little heat conduction back into the cloud as possible. The hot atoms fly away and the cold ones stay put in the decreasing cloud.

At the size of people, Stern-Gerlach magnets have no effect. The instruction "Go to Waterloo Station and take a train," however, shows how a single stream at an entrance will produce waves, diffraction and interference quite analogous to those found with hydrogen atoms as they arrive at the platforms. This also works for children, but an experiment showing the effect for cats and dogs has not yet been performed. For golf balls the problem is not the distance to the Moon. The problem is that there is no known method of driving a golf ball straight for even 300 yards. Single-particle interference of the sort studied by, e.g., Aharanov, Cohen, et al. is found with individual golf balls. This is known as the Trump-par Effect.
