Comparing to Tony Hawk or Rodney Mullen who still look (and behave) very professional, Mark looks like a homeless chap who annoys people with his skateboard....Thus..... I CAN'T STOP watching his videos.. Legend.

May I ask you, why is this an important detail to you?
@irmasil34 жыл бұрын
@@int0the3p1t32 If you ask me, it's just an important cultural point. I grew up with Tony Hawk and Rodney Mullen, Rodney is a God to me as far as skateboarding is concerned, Tony and Rodney are pretty much the epitome of "athletes", being professional, pushing the limits, staying on top of their games. Gonz on the other hand is like a shooting star, came to the scene, gave street skating (and street skaters) an identity that still to this day is ongoing, then faded away skills wise but still doing what he did best..which is: his own thing without giving a damn....That's is admirable and fun to watch at the same time. However, if I had to choose who I would hang out with now at 43, it would probably be Rodney or Tony instead of Gonz...Guess I grew old as well.

Gonz is the only thing about ADIDAS marketing that doesn't make me sick. The only thing that sucks about that is Mark being on for the dollar.I say this because there isn't anything honest and true about ADIDAS...or NIKE. Hell, New Balance has more credibility than both brands combined. At least they didn't cash in on the vulc trend like Vans and the rest of the big dogs.(the 3 E's excluded) Yes, all brands did rake in on the vulc trend, but the big dogs sold you much less shoe for much more, while the others charged us less $ for less shoe. over $100 for a fucking slip-on? I don't care what sole tech they claim, none are worth the $. The increase of your "cool factor" also isn't worth your foot health. Don't understand. talk to me when you've been skating for over two decades, and then tell me how "awesome" slip-on's are. Admit it, you wear them for fashion, not function. Fuckin' puppets.
@ProdByClockwerk8 жыл бұрын
"At least they didn't cash in on the vulc trend like Vans " Dude Vans fucking started the thin vulc thing decades before any other "skate shoe" brand even existed! If anything, Vans has stuck to there roots in the last 5-10 years by not jumping on the crazy, tech cupsole trend of modern times (eg the converse metic, the Nike BA, the Emerica Herman G6 and Westgates with the runner toe, the countless eS tech shoes now, or the numerous supras that are basically a running shoe etc......) Also New Balance didn't cash in on any trends? So when the rubber toe cap trend started, New balance totally didn't make a thin shoe with a rubber toe?

Yeah they started it and then digressed when said trend became "cool" again. You need to learn more about trend whores and the companies that push it. oh yeah...and cup sole was never a trend. fat shoes were, but not cup sole. You'd have to be pretty stupid not to notice that cup soles don't even have a look...dumbass
