I have the Hanae Mori perfume. It’s soft and pretty, but it doesn’t have a “wow” factor. I think it’s an office-safe scent since it’s more of skin scent (very light) and non-offensive. I’ve worked in office and clinical settings with people who are very sensitive to fragrances and therefore they discourage people from wearing perfume.

I love it, but the truth is, it does not last at all, not paying 220euro for 2-3 hours lasting power, it's absolutely overpriced, a mockery.

Ylang in gold sounds like it should smell beautiful. I have tried the hanae mori the blue butterfly, it lasts very long and projects very well but it smells so much like dove deodorant spray the powdery ones; it’s the only reason scaring me from even trying YIG. I don’t think it’s a bad bottle cause I’ve read the same sentiments from fragrantica ☹️

I haven't tried HMHM, but I have compared YIG and Casmir, and I find them to be very similar, with a preference for Casmir. I would recommend anyone looking for a similar fragrance to try it (on skin, after drydown)

I just got Hanae Mori in the mail last week and I really REALLY dislike it. It smell like a doll head, but not in a good way the way Makullate by Montale smells like a doll head. It smells like a cheap doll head from a doll you would get at the dollar store maybe, but worse even. The notes sounded beautiful, but I find it actually super nauseousating and I find the plastic note to be extremely strong and just icky. Yuck. Major pass for me. Major MAJOR PASS
