Hey buddy thanks! Yeah M-musi seems to be on top of their game when it comes to tight tolerances haha! The consistencies from 1 guitar to the next are impressive. Love Teles with humbuckers. And I love sparkly. it reminds me of when I was a kid back in the '60s. sparkly drums were the thing back then. and sparkly pickguards. and Kustom amps with sparkly pleated plush exteriors. and grille cloth with sparkly silver threads woven into it. those were the days!

@@j-man9457 I'm actually a '50s baby, but it was in the '60s when I started playing. by 1967 I was getting paid for gigs. time flies when yer having fun! my older bros and sisters always had the radio on when I was a toddler, so I was listening to '50s R&R before I could even walk and talk.

My untrained ear hears the Black Sparkle just a little brighter in tone. Maybe new strings vs. older...they both sound awesome! So I just ordered one...Blue 🔵 sparkle...

I'm glad (in a selfish want to not buy too many more guitars kind of way) that M-musi isn't making lefties! That galaxy would have been bought before thinking too long and hard about it. These guitars at the price are no-brainers. (Unless you're starting to think it may be time to cull the herd.) Fun video and excellent demo of how consistent these guitars are.

@@colonelranders747 definitely slim C shaped neck! The roasted Maple has a super nice feel to it😀 I don't have a guitar scale here, but if I jump on my people scale I'm 7.4Lbs heavier with the fusion in my hands than whithout 😀. I think 7.4lbs is fairly accurate as the classics are lighter and right around the 7lbs mark😎

All along I'm thinking the sparkly one sounds richer, deeper... then at the end you mentioned the difference in strings and I went aha, I thought there was some difference in sound and I was right.

Yeah the strings on these are not bad but a good set really wakes them up! Unreal guitats for the price😃

Only Issues I've had with my Musi Fusion are, it needed a string tree on the high B and E strings. Bending on the top 2 strings was popping the string out of the nut. And I had one of the fret markers crack in half at the 12th fret. I've had to fill it in with some epoxy and sand it smooth. I still love the guitar and would buy a second one, it's becoming my go to all around guitar.

Hey Cool. Thanks for chiming in! I installed a string tree on the green one and on my classic on the B&E as well but the sparkle caster, so far is fine without it... it may need one eventually with regular wear and tear! Time will tell. Weird how the fret marker cracked! Haven't heard of that happening before. Glad you were able to remedy the problem😀 the Musis are my go to guitars as well! Hey Banker Boy, To answer your question, i've just never been a fan of the color green haha. But it has really grown on me... so much so in fact, that I prefer the green to the sparkle as far as finish goes. Who knows, that could change with time too lol! Thanks for commenting! J

I only have one Musi: The burple color shift Virgo Fusion. Got it for $300 US (early adopter). It was impossible for me to get the action where I wanted it. I had to have the neck shimmed. One other negative…the paint is super thin. Whammy bar slipped out of my hand when I was putting it in and it dinked the finish. I doubt that would have happened with my MIM Strat. Overall though, I’m pretty happy with it. Plays well, sounds decent. Punches above its price point for sure.

Cool I actually have the same color Fusion as well. I had to raise the action on mine when I got it, and the neck angle was bang on. There is bound to be some QC issues at this price point right? No way they can catch everything?🤔 Anyway, I love the value in these guitars😀

Hey thanks for the question. The answer is no. I haven't tried any of the HB stuff as of yet. I hear they are hit or miss... really great out of the box, or really poor QC... these Musi Fusions I have bought 5 so far, and every one was excellent other than intonation adjustments! The musi Classics are less consistent... mostly just a few high frets that I've found with the classics, but the fusions, incredible fit and finish and Consistancy! J

Question, do you like the MUSI Classic, or the MUSI FUSION more? Hence the name, I would think the FUSION should be able to "mimic" very similar tones of the classic

Hey David! Very tough question to answer. If I could only have 1, I would get the fusion as it can cover an extremely wide genre of music, and do it well. That being said, you can't beat the tones of a hard tail tele, with a punchy single coil and an overdrive pedal hahaha! My preference is a hardtail bridge so the Classic is what drew me in first. The Fusion However, quickly gained my respect. It's like a tele on steroids! J

Very good. I think I'm leaning towards the Virgo Classic. I bought the EART T-380 Modern Humbucker, and though it's very similar to this Fusion, after putting it through the paces, I just didn't get along with it and returned it. I think the M MUSI are just a step-function above EARt. Kind of like T.J. Maxx is like a step-function above ROSS Stores...

I picked up one of these based on your review, love it. I ordered some black volume/tone knobs but also looking to add black frames for the pickups. Dont know if that could be done successfully looking at the cutouts on both sides and the location for the neck pickup? Any ideas?

Awesome Chris! Yeah these guitars are fantastic. Yes you can add pickup rings. A guy I met through youtube video 2bikemike bought one nd he added pickup rings to his, but he did have to mod the ring so it would fit around the neck pickup. I'll see if I cannfind the link to that vid and I'll send it to you!😀

To my ear, the sparkle sounds more pleasing and warmer. The green machine was maybe a little more harsh. Not a lot though. Could be just the string difference.

Yeah strings and my inconsistent playing Haha.... they are very close. It's good for customers who are expecting a specific tonal range from the reviews they're watching after pulling the trigger on one. Chances are they won't be disappointed 😀

Ive just placed my order for the Galaxy Black on Amazon last night after discovering and watching different vids reviewing these guitars including your review on the greeny and now i just watched this one Im a repair tech at GC so i prolly view guitars differently than most folks cuz i care very little about names on headstocks I cannot wait til mine arrives I love your reviews and your playing is "BANG ON!" I'm like you when it comes to names on a headstock. In fact I only have 1 big brand name in my collection, and it's only because it had been dammaged and was going to be thrown out lol! Can't justify the inflated prices these big names are charging for very average guitars! I don't really do tutorials, because I'm not very versed. In fact when it comes to theory, I know very little... my playing style is self thought and probably incorrect lol so I don't want to pass along my short comings to other players wanting to learn hahaha... Hey Strat-man! Hiw have you been! These are fantastic and in my experience, of higher quality than the EART for sure! When you say HSS, youxre refering to the Strat style Capricorn from Musi? If so I can comment as I haven't had one in my hands yet but I do have one on order😁! As far as weight, these fusions come in at around 7.5lbs... Cheers!

@@j-man9457 Yes that Capricorn has me intrigued, it's a really nice looking super strat with features that should make Fender hang it up. My Eart Strat is still the best guitar I've ever played and I have a PRS S2 and Charvel Pro Mod sitting next to it in the rack but the Capricorn keeps calling me and it doesn't help my GAS that you're praising these so highly and even above the Earts. Lol. The fact that you can tell me that these are higher quality than the Eart's is a huge statement to me, I mean HUGE because I know how well the Eart's are made and play. Thanks for costing me another $400 J man, I appreciate it.

Well I can't comment on the EART strat versions quality, but I can say with 100% certainty that the EART NK-C1 falls short of the M-Musi Virgo Classic for sure. The EART Fusion style teles may be better as they are more money...

@@edatkinson322 both are Virgos... the virgo Classic is the traditional looking Tele, whereas the Virgo Fusion is the tele with humbuckers. I have had 5 of each. All in all I can say that the Fusion is superior in overall fit and finish and set up right out of the box. Nothing wrong with the classic, however to me the Fusion seems more refined. If you could only have one, and assuming you are not a hard core traditionalist, I would reccomend the Fusion...😀

Hahaha thanks man! Yeah super happy with the QC on these. My guess is these 2 were probably built 6 to 8 months apart and still the quality and consistencies right down to the pickups are extremely precise! I too love the look of these headstocks! That carve just gives it dimension! Rock on brother!
