PSYCHİATRİST become mad or mentally affected is a myth.
Psychiatry have very rare emergencies. Their redidency and further life is cool in comparison to other clincal branches.
Peak income of PSYCHİATRİST in middle cities like Indoor, Bhopal, Jabalpur could be 15 to 25 lakhs per month.
Average income with private practice,which is easy to achieve because of less saturaion is around 3 to 5 lakhs per months.
In Jobs they start with 1 lakh will go upto 3.5 lakh per month in current scenarios.

I am a pharmacist and both my sister and mother are severe schizophrenic pateint from 10 year. I regularly visit to psychtarist. If psychtarist is good and listen to pateint very carefully that is big relieve. Psychotic patients never listen to family nor they take medication on regular basis.

Sir is it true that on an average even an established psychiatrist earn just 1-1.5 lakh per month in the private practice? I watched a video of a psychiatrist in which she was saying that in starting psychiatrist may start their earings as low as 10k per month and gradually they generally reach to just 1-1.5 lakhs🙁

Check out practo psychiatrist consultation fees ,it takes time but once you're good you'll only go higher I think and it's with any other branch .

Good Evening Sir, I would like you to address few queries of mine, I've got a rank of 15.5 k rank this year, in my first attempt. My first choice was paediatrics md, but I won't get it, also I am doubtful now since it is a saturated branch as you said, 1. Should I take a drop or dnb paediatrics? 2. I like psychiatry as a subject, reading it but I am still not confident about taking it, as a first generation doctor, what is the average income possible in psychiatry in a city like bhopal? 3. Will psychiatry get saturated as well in coming years? 4. MD Anesthesia or MD Psychiatry? 5. Is family medicine dnb better than Psychiatry md? 6. Do psychiatry impacts personal lives of psychiatrist? 7. I've heard, it is not medical enough compares to other branches, so it gives less of a doctor feel? 8. After watching your video on ophthalmology, I got interested, Should I consider ophthalmology, even if had no interest in it before? 9.
