In the description it says that she was married to the guy who killed her father. It's him that you see hanged at the beginning.

There you go, doom metal in my Swedish tongue. At least some doom inspiration. I can at least translate the title to, "A snare of gold" Kind of surprised that Nuclear signed this genre. But a pleasant surprise. Edit* That these guys have been around since 95 was another surprise

@@APREACTS Right, my mistake. Sometimes I get them mixed up. But a major label was the pleasant surprise none the less.

Intrigued to listen to the whole album. Starts off with a ten-minute song. 😱

It is an amazing album, got to listen to it since recording this video. That opening track is amazing but the closing track is an outstanding acoustic duet

I Will say this as a Swede. IF it wasnt for the band Ultima Thule, The forefathers of what we call viking rock, The originators of rock/metal/punk with viking Theme singing about our old Scandinavian ways and old gods this band Wouldnt exist, Nore would Tyr, Sabaton or pretty much any of these kinds of bands.. Unfortunatly Ultima Thule got a racist stamp wich they have spent 40 years trying to wash off.

I fully agree they paved the way for all these bands, as well as Hel and other similar 90's bands, although few will admit that. With that said I find vikings to be a overrated part of our Swedish history but I really like the overall sound of these bands.

Darn, i liked overall mood of this song soundwise.Even though i can't understand a word, it must have been very upset message.

they use old Swedish tongue mixed with modern Swedish tongue in the lyrics and as the video shows, it's about a girl who's forced to marry and she makes a promise to retaliate. The very first line goes "As the moon flees, and the day dawns at the edge of the east , a king's death in the sky's embers". Same line as the very last line aswell.

Boys, your head-wobbling - not even in sync with the song - is cringeworthy. Are you even listening to the same song we do?

Probably not. Considering the dual feed of the headphones there is a few seconds delay between us, but who cares about facts lets just shit all over people because that is what the internet is all about.
