Damiano used to play basketball at semi pro level before concentrating on music, but he never grew tall enough.

Thx. This video is probably shot by Leo, a friend from the early days. It's quite similar to the series "This is Måneskin" about the band making their first album in the studio. That's a must see. 😀 The concept here is openness, but also how hard it is to do touring. Peace.

Their current ages (by order): Damiano - 8 January 1999 (age 25) Victoria - 28 April 2000 (age 23) Ethan - 8 October 2000 (age 23) Thomas - 18 January 2001 (age 23) Note: all of them have the number "8" on their birthday! 😉

Hi, thanks for your reaction, happy you enjoyed it! It’s always such a pleasure to see this again, it never gets bored. All other suggestions done here by the other fans are all very good and you will love to see this. You will get to know and love Måneskin more and more 🥰 Their relationship goes beyond friendship and family, it is so special. Love to see them grow and have also have much fun together ❤ There is a lot of material from them online, already from their beginning. it makes you feel closer to them as a fan, because they are showing ver much of themselves. Not many (I don’t know any) bands are doing this and it’s so appreciated by their fans. By the way, not all shows were in Germany, they were also in the Netherlands (Pinkpop and the tv show Humberto), Vilnius in Litvania and some other places. This year they will do a lot of festivals and I’m so happy to see them again in June when they are playing at Pinkpop again ❤

The tv show was in the netherlands, literally it said Amsterdam which is thier capital. Also the small stage was Brussel (Belgium) and there were few other countries.

The have another documentary when they recorded the first album. They've really young and you can see how much they've grown.

There is another series of videos documented by the same guys who filmed themselves when they were not yet famous, they only played in clubs. The videos document everyday life, rehearsals, Damiano writing the lyrics and moments of tension. I think a fan on KZbin edited them together with English subtitles too. "[Sub ENG] This Is Måneskin - The FILM" Very nice. Greetings from Rome.

Actually they filmed that after they were on x-factor, but while they were writing their first real album. It was released as part of the promotion for said album.

@@liliaeth Ok, but they weren't actually anyone yet. They didn't know how and what would happen next, and the filming was self-made, there was no crew in the house. So everything is still very artisanal and true.

@@MikeFurianooh that I agree with, this was when they were first starting out. They'd just done their first minor tour, right after x-factor, and it's when they had to prove themselves as a band that could stay around, and wasn't just some X-factor act. It's really when they had to learn to work together as a band, when they had to deal with arguments and disagreements, and in a way it was also how they experimented with the kind of music they wanted to make going forward, which is why the range of styles on Il Ballo della vita is so diverse, and why there's some songs on that album (Are you ready) that they now want nothing to do with ;-) It's really when they went from a bunch of kids with a dream, to actual artists, which is what makes that docu so interesting. (and because they were so young, I'm pretty sure that there's some bits in the docu, that if they'd been older, that they'd have had cut out, like say that scene with Damiano and Vic on the train)

@@liliaeth Real. Right. That's why I was saying that the post-Eurovision tour probably has little to say regarding the essence of the group. I mean as people, kids with dreams to realize. Fears, doubts, tears, that romance that you can only find when a flower is about to bloom are missing. When a star is about to shine.

@@MikeFuriano oh agreed the current tourvids are more about them having fun backstage, the speed of a tourlife... they are far less about 'drama' or watching them grow up.

Victoria and Thomas met in middle school and formed their first band together when they were 12 and Damiano was in a band with Victoria before she kicked him out because she wanted to make rock music and he wasn't in favor of it. Damiano played basketball and football when he was a teenager, but gave up sports when he decided he preferred a musical career and returned to Victoria, who did not hesitate to replace her new singer with him. At that point there were only three of them and they found Ethan as their drummer thanks to an ad on Facebook. Damiano was 16, Victoria 15, Ethan 14 and Thomas was between 13 and 14 when the future Måneskin were born.
