Tbh I don't think it's because they're straight. yes, Damiano is not so provocatively in contact with vic, because people ship them for every look, touch and even movement towards each other. if he could get to Ethan (who is not straight), he would do the same as with Thomas, this can be understood by their interaction off stage, they do not hesitate to show their affection by touching / kissing. about vic: she said that she only seals her nipples because of censorship, she goes shirtless without any problems, freedom is part of their brand, guys don't sexualize her, it's normal for them (and it should be for everyone)

Any song has a count… Ethan counts in Coraline but is not evident. Ethan is the heartbeat he is the point of reference for all of them, including Dami. For most of these kind of shows you only do sound test, they map the location of the cameras and it is up to the camera coordinator to react to what is going on in the stage to choose what camera to use. It ends to experience - Live1 is great. Nothing to do with Eurovision, that takes weeks of rehearsal. Last but not least, this was in Germany I think, they have a way stronger foothold in Europe even before Eurovision, it is also less censored. Damiano is supremely shy, he is a signer he rarely talks in shows, just for interviews. I consider them musicians more than entertainers and within the music he is a machine because his relationship with the music he performs. And the Thomas and Dami and also Vicky thing is an statement not a gimmick, they are aiming to people outside the audience… there is a pretty cool rant in Italian of Damiano because two policemen and teenager made fun of his crop top and he said more or less - the more your criticizes the harder we will push back, eyeliner, female clothing… It is something they repeat almost in every interview everyone should be whatever they want to be.
