It was Damiano's funeral. He wrote the lyrics in Los Angeles during the months they lived there and one day he thought about what he would say the ones he loves if he died suddenly while he was away. Anyway, this video is a work of art, perfect for this song.

@@ReactionsbyD He has a girlfriend, he wrote "Coraline" for her (he inspired on her for "Malena" too), another deep song. She suffer an illness, he had supported her very much and seems that he was worry she could commit suicide. When the band released Mamma Mia, Damiano was a bit apologetic because the song wasn't as deep as usual but it was a fun and socially critical song

It can have lots of meanings. But Damiano said he wrote it while they were recording music in LA. The others had fun visiting friends or family, and he was homesick, missing his loved ones. So first he imagined what'd happen if he'd lose them forever, only for that to change into what would happen if he died, and what he would want to tell them.

Damiano said he wrote it while he was away from home and didn't have the chance to see his loved ones for quite a long time. He felt very lonely and homesick so he thought "what if this feeling lasts forever, what would I want to say to those I love if I died?" so that's how he started writing it. It's a beautiful song and the video really does it justice.

Come dici tu ( e come dicono sempre anche i Måneskin ) le loro canzoni di prestano a molte interpretazioni .... ti dico che in una intervista Damiano ha detto che ha scritto il testo mentre erano a Los Angeles e gli mancava la famiglia e ha immaginato cosa avrebbe voluto dire loro se fosse morto allora ... E ci sta ... Essendo io un po' cinica ti dico che a mia avviso può essere il funerale delle loro origini più rock per una scelta un po' più commerciale che gli sta imponendo la loro nuova produzione ... Diciamo che può essere il funerale della ( ormai leggendaria ) Marlene la loro musa ispiratrice dei primi tempi ... Altra interpretazione può essere il funerale della loro spensieratezza giovanile che stanno perdendo per via dei troppi impegni sempre in giro per il mondo da un concerto all'altro ... Il video spiega la canzone. Una meravigliosa canzone nata mentre era in giro per concerti, pensò che se gli fosse successo qualcosa mentre era lontano non avrebbe più avuto la possibilità di dire alle persone care quanto le amasse.. Il funerale è di Damiano ma lui è lì perché non ricorda di essere morto, non ricorda che il funerale è il suo e nessuno lo riconosce. Poi inizia a piovere e alzando gli occhi vede se stesso cadere dal cielo e ricorda, ricorda di essere morto annegato. Inizia a vomitare acqua finché non tira fuori il biglietto appollottolato... Simboleggia le parole che non è riuscito a dire a chi amava e decide di farli in quel momento, ed è lì che si rivela e lo riconoscono, c'è chi si fa il segno della croce poi tutti fuggono terrorizzati, tutti tranne i suoi amici che vogliono trattenerlo, ma lui sa che deve ritornare dall'altra parte e li lascia, stavolta per sempre.. 😭😭❤️❤️❤️ Meravigliosa e struggente canzone..

hello D., I really do appreciate your way of discerning thing to the bone. This song is a piece of art considering the melancholy that Daminao shows here. It is somewhat present in all his songs. The gutar was crying. I felt that way too. The piece of paper that he took off his mouth was a sort of a written testament addressed to friends and family. The rain seems have help him finalise his brutal choice, made on a spare of a moment.

He was caught on video kissing one of Victorias friends and apologised saying that they had split a few days before but that they hadn’t wanted it announced this way. That here had been no betrayal but to be kind to Giorgia and respect their privacy. She had felt betrayed, but then announced that their relationship had never been monogamous. It is rumoured that she had gotten close to a cosmetics entrepreneur prior to the launch of her cosmetics brand. At surface level on social media he seems to be struggling the most. I can’t understand it and we never really know what happens in others relationships, but from his lyrics and what he has said in interviews, I can’t think other than he was devoted to her. She is still in their apartment with their cats. I feel very emotional for him but I speculate that constant touring put a strain on their relationship (TIMEZONE). Victoria seems to be looking after him. The Italian press were all over it.
