This was the exploratory time of skating. Nollie kick/hill flips were just being created on street. 360 flips were the trick of the time in street skating. If you could do those that meant something. Landed my first one in 92 on those bulky decks. I’ll always remember that Tom Knox quote: once a skater always a skater. I quit in 94, wish I never did but it happens. Now I’m in my 40s and only weigh 150 I could have easily get back into it if not for having a major back surgery that screwed me up so badly. Just a simple fall could paralyze me. I sure do miss the sound of rolling down a sidewalk. I miss the pop sound of ollies. And I miss the feeling of working on a trick for weeks to finally landing it sketchy but still landing it. Once a skater always a skater!!!

We already know who the first 2 songs are by, they belong to Thomas Burlefinger and the group Poison Ivy 1988-1992 based in Munich. In 1993 Thomas Burlefinger left his band Poison Ivy and everything changed, so if you listen to Poison Ivy records it doesn't seem the same. There is no CD, no recording of this, they were not successful enough, the communication channels did not exist as they are now. You can find his comment here kzbin.info/www/bejne/nonSgKGIbsuUsLc. If you would like him to be encouraged to release a double vinyl or a CD with all the original material, it is up to us to show him how many fans and skaters of the 90s want to have that material and enjoy it endlessly. Cheer up, enter the link and leave him a comment, he deserves to have our recognition and for him to see it.
