Why did you start skateboarding? Here's the original contest footage of the Münster Monster Mastership 1991 (digitized VHS in 720p before the tape dies). The Video catches the great vibe of the event back then - although the cut (especially in the street section) seems a bit non-skateboarder like ... great job Titus for putting the events up.

I remember the 1991 NSA Am finals then turning pro and skating vert and skating in general went to crap for awhile!!

on street Ed Templeton was way in front on anybody, was bullshit to let win Hawk , not correct

Did you not see that front 360? Ed was great but not way ahead of the pack at that time or any time by any means.

The onefoots and impossibles and more difficult grinds were new in that context, but Hawk blasted ollie 360's and blunt-variations. Sure, the "old" generation got by a bit there with shoveits. A year or two later and flips took over even in contests. This ramp contest might display the best Hawk has ever skated compared to the rest of the competitors. Miller was insane too. There is a raw cut on KZbin, and it probably is the peak of vert-skateboarding in this kind of ramp. The ramps are larger today. In X-games 1995, for example, the level was way lower.
