Great video! Thanks. I brought the slide for my Shield 1.0 9mm at Turner's last week, but couldn’t decide which red dot at the time. Now I am waiting on my CTS-1550 from PSA after watching your helpful video. Hope my installation is as easy as your tutorial.

Definitely agree with that. Mag gutz are legit and I swapped the trigger but it wasn’t easy lol

Crimson trace has great customer service for my experience you're going to need it my first one Was shooting way too high you can adjust it down they sent me another one that one doesn't work at all now and I have a third one that works okay and it's on my shield Plus this is all within a year I don't even worry about having them replaced the one that won't come on one I just bought a Holosun 507c x2 for my Smith & Wesson compact for that Pistol and eventually replace the one on the Smith & Wesson shield plus probably go with the Holosun 407k for that one

I almost went this route. I just could not justify spending $300+, unfortunately. Your project turned out good! I went the Dove Adaptive Mounting Solutions route.

I did this on my G2c and had it come loose after about 1 year of regular carry. And I was very confident with the install. Never had the issue with my direct mount stuff. How is yours holding up?

Hello, will the ADMS route let you have iron sight co-witness? I need to have a backup iron sight on my Shield 1.0 due to my CCW permit requirements in CA. A CCW pistol must have a backup iron sight, in case the red dot fails.

I'm usually not a fan of the 2 tone on guns like these but that actually looks pretty good. I just got a shield plus performance center for $250 off at a pawn shop lol I thought it would be beat up but it showed up like brand new, except I didn't get the extra screws for the CT dot but S&W is sending me some free so that's cool

So I just added this slide on a CA Compliant Shield Plus. I put the Holosun 507 Green on it. I did NOT need the adapter place and it cowitnesses well. You do need to buy screws. The will be 6-32 by 1/2 inch. Just FYI for the community.

I was trying to do some upgrades on my S&W Shield 1.0 and had the most trouble removing the rear/front iron sights that I considered just buying another slide that have the optics cut. But then I realized that for $200 more, I could buy the S&W Equalizer which has newer and updated features including higher capacity magazines than the Shield. So I went that route instead.

My ct 1550 had screws with lock tight all ready to go in the box . If yours did not call ct they will send them , there cs is outstanding. One question where did you buy the slides from ? thanks K

Don't have a plate. But the tool I used came with my holosun optic.

Thanks for the response. I’m not sure if it will work on the EZ as I don’t have one but from what I know is the slide I purchased from turners is only compatible with the 1.0 and 2.0. And as for the CT I picked up from Amazon as it was $20 less then turners. Has been running great and on point with groups at 7-15yards.
