Dear sir, I worked as a Driver cum Conductor in Karnataka road transport corporation during 1999 to 2002.once they told me to drive this 1210D tanker and if ok then take this to RTO inspection in the heart of Mangalore city. I drove this truck inside workshop and with great 😥sweat I refused to take this truck to RTO. Next I came to know that one senior driver took that truck to RTO along with another driver sitting near him. Thanks 🙏 to yesteryear Drivers of Truck and Bus

We had 1959 model Gave it scrap few years back as engine was done after running on sleeve and crack on chasis All the major parts like Engine, chasis, differcial, rims were in stock. This truck was much lighter then 1210 model. Differcial was small but it used be very strong and remained In good shape even after serving for 50 years.

1954 starting me steem engine hote thy . 1967 last light model ko heavy model bna dia , 1968 se pehle axal me stud hote thy . 1972 se pehle Simple head hota tha , jisme heater ke liye plug lagte thay.( zra bhi jyada heat hone se head leak ho jata tha ) 1972 me Steel head D Model launch hui , usme meter black colour ( in side ) ke ho gye , 1972 se pehle meter (Gauge) in side white thy shayed inside round lakeer bhi thi . 1972 me Bumper chouda kr dia ( jo ye truck me dikhai de raha he ) 1974 me Surmai colour ko yellow colour me tabdeel kar dia .( mene 67 ,68 model me helper ka kam kia at 1977) As Driver 1972 ,74 ,76 ,80 Model pe driveri ka kam kia . in india from 1978 se last 1981 tak . Then March 1982 se 2019 tk gulf me as driver job kri .

We had a Tata D-Model truck. The truck was good but it frequently gets breakdown. Means, maintenance was a bit high. But unfortunately 9 years back from now, it met with an accident, in which the cabin totally got damaged as well as the front axle too. After that we sold that vehicle in scrap and I didn't knew it was a Mercedes Benz model.
