What I love about this performance isn't only the undeniable connection between the 4 hands, and their ability to convey a story, but also their attention to the melody. Ravel cherished melody, and never wrote it to be merely functional, but to have it's own agency. This recording gives the melodies full stage. Love it

Most beautiful interpretation of this Ravel opus I have ever heard. And Ravel is one of my favorite composers, so I've heard it plenty of time, and played some of it myself. Gave me goose bumps at times, so perfect...

Karl Gruner Ravel is definitely one of my favorite composers as well, and this was a fantastic interpretation of this Suite!

Since I have no one to play this with I’m on a lonely journey to play the solo version, which.. is inevitably lacking in many areas. But I love it too much to not play it. This four-hand will always be one of my favorite pieces.

as tender as the love of a mother for her child or the love of a father for his child. They almost always portray the mather loving their children thats not true a father might a does in many instances loves his children more than a mother,Love is care and thats what counts maybe some day I will tell you more about love.

Beautifully articulated and expressive. Laideronnette and Belle& Bette are a bit fast for me...
