I grew up eating homemade frijol con puerco. Definitely one of the best soup dishes in Mexico! Glad you were able to experience it. At home we just sliced the habanero and added all of the side ingredients into the bowl, mixing it with the beans and pork, always rolling up a tortilla and eating it on the side.

At minutes 23 and 24 you met Mennonites from Belize. You theorized they may be ex-Nazis since they spoke German, which could not be farther from the truth. Mennonites have been in the U.S. almost since the founding of the U.S. They live in the northeast and midwest of the U.S., and some of them bought land to farm in Belize. Mennonites are similar to Quakers in theology and custom.
