Great video thanks for sharing. How are you able to blow the whistle so freely? And aslo did you change the whistle sounds cv’s ? because from the factory it doesn’t sound like yours, yours sounds amazing.

Thank you! I replaced the original sound with ESU Loksound. This locomotive is from Märklin (3-rail/AC) based on the Broadway limited one. They are still the same model but with other paint and sound. If you see older videos of the steam locomotive you can see the different. The whistles are from KZbin videos, I edited an program it into the decoder. It’s easy to program the decoder with the esu lokprogrammer. In my new Videos you can see it with the steam generator. Unfortunately the first smoke generator was damaged so I change it with a new one after I got a new decoder

First yes, but I’m experiment with the esu programmer. Now I got the smoking whistle back but I need a new smoke generator because the heat elements got burned down. Only the smoking whistle works

@@marc_abby yeah...my smoke generator died very early on my TRIX #844 and only recently got it back from repair from Marklin. I hear many many stories from other people about the smoke generator on this loco dying :/
