M/S Alpo returning celebrations in Oulu 25.6.2024

Historical M/S Alpo sails from Oulu, Finland to Normandy. The convoy led by M/S Alpo includes a charitable component. During the journey, we aim to raise funds for the defense of Ukraine, specifically for the air force situational awareness systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We call it 'from the sea to the sky.’

Ukraina taistelee urheasti itsenäisyytensä puolesta, niin kuin aikanaan pieni Suomi Talvisodassa ylivoimaista vihollista vastaan. Ja tämän retken miehistö osoitti todellista korpisoturihenkeä. Ukraine fights valiantly for its independence, just like little Finland did in the Winter War against a superior enemy. And the crew of this trip showed true Finnish spunk.
