M.S. Gullfoss Cruise to Iceland 1962

what an interesting documentary. Very valuable. I guess it started at Vestmannaeyjar. The bigger white cruiseship was the Ariadne (German owned, funnel Hamburg Amerika Linien) and there was the Icelandic tug Magni (still existing) plus 2 more ships of Eimskip (the company that owns the Gullfoss) one of the class Lagarfoss and one of the class Selfoss plus many steamtrawlers, still running in those days. Quite enjoyable. No I am not Icelandic, but Dutch. But do know all the Icelandic ships. Pity there are no inside (saloons/cabins) shots! But again: a valuable document. The Gullfoss found her end in the Red Sea, after a fire she was condemned. Running pilgrims for a Saudi company. Should have been amaritime museum in Reykjavik, being (almost) the only Icelandic passengervessel!
