Hi Becky and Mum Wendy, I'm loving the walk down memory lane with the 2 of you working on the vids again. M&S, to me, always give a smaller fit. Not like a size smaller, but definitely a less generous cut. Today I bought a dress there your buddy Trina wore this week and found the 18 fitted fine. I think their new dress manufacturers are giving the proper size at last. Jumpers I always buy a size bigger in M&S and seeing they haven't ever been generous on jumpers sizing, I totally agree, what the heck is their reason for no XXL. I liked the gingham dress Becky, but the black dress reminded me of the hairdressers Cape! Lovely vid. Thanks girls.

According to their size guide an XL is a 20-22. I didn't think the fit was too bad but they were all very short. I want a sweater I can wear with leggings

M&S are a bit strange at the moment aren’t they? I liked the green dress and the black one too, although it was a little more expensive..it did look nice on you. I love how you and your Mum discuss the items you pick. I have become more of an M&S shopper over the past 2 years. (online from where I live) They have indeed upped their game! I agree that the sweatshirts needed to be an XXL although you could see the quality was good. I'm a size 18 an wear the XL. I agree with your Mum about the sweater neckline. Boat neck would look great on you! Funnel/turtle necks might be trendy but they are not always flattering. Some pattern types don't look as good on curvy shapes, and gingham can be tricky. If it is a small check with different colours like the dress, then I think that's fine. I really liked that dress on you! Large checks, horizintal stripes steer clear of! Being a busty gal myself I have never worn horizontal stripe patterns as they add width. The green dress lookded good on you and that black one screamed New years Eve! Like you said bright lips, shoes and earrings and you'll steal the show!!

The black jacquard dress has no stretch so might not be that comfortable. Also the sleeves are so voluminous that it makes you look wider across the top than you really are. I thought you could find a nicer little black dress, something with a more fluid fabric, but it’s up to you if you keep it. You’re beautiful, that dress not so much. The second dress suits you much better I thought. More flattering. The gingham dress is matronly. You can do better. I don’t mean to sound negative but give you my honest opinion. ❤

Hi Becky & Beckys mum Well i was disappointed with the haul. I'm in my late sixties definitely to old for ppl of your age Becky, that brown dress I wouldn't have worn that it was awful. It would've made me look bigger. Sweatshirts were to small, the best thing was the black and white gingham dress. Such a shame use to buy so much from M&S. There clothes don't fit as well as they use do. Don't hardly buy anything now. Nice to see your mum thanks Becky Patricia ❤
