Yes definitely. Even to a 7000m peak in the summer

As I have been a HUGE North Face brand guy for 30 yrs, I think the quality and style of jackets are going down hill. They use to be a "highly technical outerwear" but now they seem to be a fashion brand. there's nothing impressive anymore, the Summit Series are even average. Convince me other wise but I'm starting to look at Rab.

Their Advanced Mountain Kit (AMK) is the only real gear they make these days.

I agree quality is no longer a requirement only taking your money. This goes for numerous brands.

@@Provenkit I buy RAB jackets now... I keep my north face stuff skiing since it's only 2 or 3 times a year and I already have everything.
