durva hogy ilyen kocsik még mindig járnak, múltkor láttam még ilyen felújítotattlan halbi kocsit pécsen beállítva

Hope it brings u good memories! :) just goes to show how well these carriages were made, they’re still running. “REGI” in the title means old in Hungarian - most of these ex-DB carriages have been refurbished already, this is why this one is special 🥰🥰🥰 in all fairness tho, they really shouldn’t be used in “InterCity” and premium services, but lately the Hungarian Railways are bullshiting their way through every day operation. MÁV bought these from DB in 2006, n they r still refurbishing them 16 years later for “premium long distance services”. It’s a sad Joke.

@@trainsandmodelshungary Yes, good memories... :) I know some hungarian and also the word régi, but I'm not confident enough writing in hungarian. I lived in Vas megye for three years Szentgotthárd és Körmend között in a small village called Gasztony... I went by train a lot of times to Szombathely and Sopron from Rátót station, but there GySEV operates the trains and they are either modern FLIRT or old ÖBB Inlandreiszugwagen with a V43, Taurus or Vectron as locomotive. And yes, I was wondering sometimes, when I was in Szombathely that I saw some MÁV IC trains with Halberstädter... :) Also some IC trains from Sopron to Budapest Keleti I saw operated by MÁV or GySEV with CFR passenger cars.

@@matthiasendler7268 oh sweet! Then you had the chance to see a diverse fleet, with MAV, OBB, GYSEV - and even CFR! I remember there was a period when MAV used CFR carriages to supplement its IC services. I think it’s no longer the case cos of the newly produced carriages, but that’s a whole other thing. N yeah, u can definitely feel the Austrian influence on GYSEV, much less chances of getting away with BS, though lately they have had their fair share of revolting attitudes towards pax. MÁV train crew kept refusing to accept their “RaaberCity” services at Gyor, cos the carriages were in such a condition that it even pissed off MAV staff 😂😅mostly unsafe doors and major ventilation issues. Drama after drama.
