Got my pedal today. Whats interesting: 1- Clean sound. In addition to a large number of interesting reverberations, with some settings the guitar turns into a SYNTH. That pads good for atmospheric mixes. 2- Distortion. You can get alot of lofi sounds, but the greatest thing is a transform to MALE BLACK METAL SCREAMING VOICE! That sounds rly scary and good for DSBM and other metal subgenres. 3- USB charge. I hate old pedals for needing many adapters and cables. You dont need it for that pedal. That pedal good for: Ambient, Trance, rock, Shoegaze, Black metal, Blackgaze. 100 out of 10!

@@M-VAVE Mine arrived today. After spending so much more on other reverbs, it's hard to believe what I've got here for £30. The shimmer alone is far better than the TC Fluorescence, and just as good as the Hall of Fame 2 and the Joyo Atmosphere shimmers. The other 8 sounds are also fine. It won't replace my Strymon Cloudburst, but then again it was a tenth of the price. This one is a winner. Edit: I bought it for the Shimmer mode. That's just as well, because in the first hour one of the other sounds has failed. The selector knob is flimsy. Think I'd best leave it on Shimmer! There is plenty of variation in that one sound, and it is an exceptionally good one. Second edit: yesterday, after a total of a few hours' use, it developed three more faults. First, it would not switch on. The way around that is to connect the power supply with the button held down. Second, it began to switch itself on and off in a steady rhythm. Third, it would not switch off. The second problem kicks in after a minute or two and makes the unit unusable. This is a great shame, as the sound was magnificent for that short time when it worked.

At this price point, this pedal is already a great achievement. Make it true stereo, and clean the signal up a little - no whines, hisses, buzzing (many people seeking these effects are recording with them), and you will have a pedal capable of dominating the bottom end of the market. Trails function and 100% wet would be the icing on the cake. @@M-VAVE

This pedal would definitely compete with Boss’ RV-6. Except the only thing that Boss has that differs is it has stereo input/output. But if you just do mono, you’ll sound just as good with this pedal and save $$$

Hi !!! I´ve just bought this pedal and it seems to have a kind of problem. Every time that I turned it on or off, it emits a pop (or a crackle .. I don´t know the correct word). I tested it in two diferents amplifiers, in diferente places and the result is the same. It´s veryit's unpleasant when you're playing and the reverb comes in with that loud pop. Terrible ... Have you noticed something like this ? Thanks !

Assuming no faults, this is probably due to lack of buffering. Some options for you would be 1) Leave the M-vave permanently on and use it in a switchable / programmable FX loop in your amp / multi-FX, or 2) use a dedicated FX loop pedal to do the switching - a Loopy2 would be expensive, but there are cheaper alternatives.

The best "inexpensive" infinite sustain I've tried so far is on the Nux Damp. I like it better than the Donner vintaverb and the Flamma Ekoverb (for this feature). I haven't had the opportunity to try the Mooer a7 or the Mooer r7 x2 yet. Secondary switch features on sub $100 gear is something I'm always after.
