@M0BILETube Heh, actually I was curious about some of the places seen in the show. I have also found the hotel that Arkwright takes Nurse Gladys to that's only a few hundred yards from the shop in another episode. The Balmoral Hotel. 129 Thorne Road. It's on the other side of Doncaster, though. I doubt you'd be able to actually see the shop from there. The pilot episode I know was filmed elsewhere. Nothing matches up. I'm still trying to track down where that was filmed.

gamewizard according to IMDB the pilot exteriors were filmed in Ealing, London. No further information was given

I hope it’s still there as a landmark to remember Arkwright by. ☺️ Thankfully Britain has not got that keen tendency of tearing down old buildings if wasn’t necessary. They’ve always known the value of things unlike many countries. But lately I seen them, the new generation, do not pay much care in putting greater efforts into keeping up the beauty of old territories!

@fordham237 No, I'm not. It's absolutely true. Use Google Maps street view and you can see it's the same building. The only difference now is that one of the windows is bricked up. In Fig Biscuits and Inspirational Toilet Rolls you can clearly see the shop on the next corner over Arkwright's shoulder as Nurse Gladys drives off with the bricked up window intact.

@M0BILETube And what makes it harder is that I'm not actually visiting the area to find these places. I'm doing it purely through the use of Google street view. I figured the other locations from the show would be close to the location of the shop that was used so I used that as the center of the search.
