Amazing job!!! Not just the technique itself, but the final edit, and without the unnecessary talking. Not that we don't sometimes enjoy the chat, but ultimately when we click, we just want to know how to do it. And you do a wonderful job simply showing us only the important parts. And I would imagine that without the talking, it gives you more editing freedom, because you don't have to worry about cutting things off mid-sentence. So, she starts with a simple bullseye cane and then, bam, she takes a left turn LOL! So clever, so easy! Until I dig my pasta machine out of storage, Skinner Blends will have to wait ... but this cane design is just awesome, and I can't wait to try it in B&W and other color combos. And your ideas for using washers as endcaps on the beads, and cane slices for cord end beads, are genius. Thanks so much for sharing your talents and expertise!!

Loved the way you did the beads with the washers 🤔 gave me an idea of making silver washers out of silver wire I can make sure the ends can be imbedded into the clay so that they stay put😹 I love the classical look of the black on white it's such a timeless colour combo 🤗🤗

What kind of cord did you use? Can the cord be baked along with the clay? Great video. Thanks.

This is a tubular mesh cord. It is elastic and made of synthetic material. This one can be put in the oven. I bought it in a jewelry store. Remember that all materials that are not deformed in boiling water, can be introduced in the oven with polymer clay. So if you are not sure if a material can be cooked with polymer clays, you can do a test by dipping it in boiling water.

Hi Barbara! sorry for the late reply, :-) Here in Italy we call it "elastic lycra tubular tape" . The elastic Lycra tubular tape is commonly used to make bracelets
