Hello Callum i have been following your course on the foundation licences and looking to book my place for the exam whilst watching all the other bits and bobs you've done (nice work by the way ) Got left a yaesu ft 900 by late farther in law needs an antenna (what would you recommend) Want to get into the hobby but have no idea but looks very interesting massive learning curve.. Why do they bother us with EIRP? Anyone here ever transmitted from space, without being near a vehicle, transceiver, coax or other metal objects? Just tell us what we are allowed to do in ERP and take our money...
