This is gonna be brilliant, been following Fedor, Banetts careers. both great fighters. I personally think if anyone can beat Fedor, it has to be Barnett. But who knows, Fedor looked like he was losing to Arlovski, then he droped him. Great to see Gegard fight in the US after destroying everyone in Dream. Trilogy is gonna be mental!!!

Will now be moving up to Light Heavy, this guy is only 23 but he already has 28 fights and 25 wins 2 loses and 1 draw... and he trains with Fedya (Fedor) now this is what i call a great f****n talent. Fedor has also recommended him to move up to heavyweight, and if Fedor recommends it then he must see potential. Another guy (from M-1) that is exciting is Bogdan Cristea

Fedor owns part of M-1 Global, it is in his best interest to sign a contract with someone who will co-promote. (It will never be the UFC) His manager is not the only reason Fedor will not sign with UFC. He knows what will happen if he did... He would have to fight quality fighters, and i do not think he is willing to do that anymore.

you should go read some sherdog articles and look up some dana white/fedor interviews on the subject of fedor vs the ufc, because it has been back and forth between the 2 since 2005, fedor owns 20% of m1 so contract wise he might not get paid as much via other orgs per contract but with co-promotions he makes much more money then the contract could give him, also m1 has made the ufc alot of offers for sigle fight deals and the ufc turned them all down (funny when pride and ifl had done this)

Personally I wouldn't say cro cop, Babalu or Ricardo Arona were washed up when Fedor beat them because they all had their most important wins after losing to Fedor. Cro cop beat Barnett twice and Wanderlei after Fedor beat him. Babalu beat shogun after losing to Fedor. And Arona beat Wanderlei and Dan Hederson after losing to Fedor. Everyone he beat washed up? I think not.

RIGHT ON... Would you like to see Fedor and Lesnar fight? I would and So would a lot of people... Personally, I think over time, like 2 years, Lesnar is going to get a ton better! Very simple. Srikeforce is on FREE TV. They have the BEST 205 CHAMPION TO DATE Gergard Musausi. Also they have already brought Japanese fighters from Sengoku K1 and Dream. Many fighters chose to NOT fight for ufc because they want to fight in other organizations. This is a BIG merger because when you think of the SF roster and combine it with the others, you have a deep talent pool. Dont get me wrong. I am a fan ufc as well but when a company has complete control we all lose out.

No i'm not retarded, but thanks for asking. I did say 'if' they get their marketing right. They've got good fighters and a good fan base, but they do very little promotion in comparison to UFC. It's a known fact that Pride FC was better than the UFC, but being non-American it wasn't really accepted.

Quality over quantity. I suppose Affliction could put 4-5 Ultimate Fighter Reality show noobs on thier PPV like the UFC likes to do but wouldn't you rather watch fighters with World Class skill? Fedor, Barnett, Vitor, Mousasi, Babalu, Yvel, Gomi, etc? The matchups are ALL VERY GOOD. None of them are fighting a can of Tomato Soup like John Fitch was at UFC 100. Good matchups typically = good fights. There are going to be some AMAZING fights it's by far Affliction's best fight card.

You don't understand why? I'll make it simple for you. UFC offered him a bad deal, Fedor's said that about 1,000 times. He's said if UFC offers him a deal that isn't one-sided, he'll fight there tomorrow. Strikeforce offered him a two-sided deal, and allowed him to co-promote M-1 Global. It's not that hard to understand. You UFC fanboys are just avoiding the facts.

Barnett is good but Fedor is the best. Fedor probably studied the fights josh had again noguiera and cro cop. I mean how do you rank barnett as no.2 when he has 3 losses to a man that is no longer in the top 10 list in Mirko CroCop. I still think cro cop is better than barnett and poses a bigger threat to Fedor. Barnett can get koed and submitted as shown by noguiera, cro cop and hizzo. So Fedor has this fight in the bag.
