M1000R AKRAPOVIC SOUND TEST (STOCK)

Full sound test on my new BMW M1000R, if you have an S1000RR the sound should be identical!!

I put the Akra stubby on my m1000r and it sounds way better without making it too loud. Also did the stage 1 bren tune and that made it sound AWESOME. It opens the butterfly valve lower in the revs so you still have the needed back pressure but with all the sound quality.

Oh really? You leave the cat and everything? I’ve heard bren tune makes it a bit louder

@topmaster999 Yeah the headers and resonator box/cat are all still stock. So it improved the sound quality without raising the decibals or voiding the warranty. I just put the factory tune back on before having any servicing done to keep from voiding the warranty.

Nice nice. That’s not a bad option, did you have the same muffler as me or was it the plain silver one?

@@smokeystarr Which Akra stubby are you referring to? I'm thinking about replacing my 2016 S1000R with the M1000R. I have this short Akra Slip-on on my S. Is it that one? Is it mechanically possible to mount that short Akra slip on on the M1000R? There are no details anywhere to be found so I'm looking for some firsthand experience.

Why is this even a question? Anything non factory is illegal, unless U have approval from authorities, all documentation and inspections done with a pass, for a shit load of money..
