4:46 yup…you’re both in the wrong. That ridiculous swooping line the fat guy on the 400 took is retarded. You following him for a lap and having eleventeen opportunities to pass him extremely cleanly prior to this bad decision, is your fault. It’s a track day. You’re both slow as dirt. If someone on a 250/300/400 girls bike is damaging your ego: pull into hot pit and count to ten, and go back out again. 🎉🎉 God speed brother heal up quick and get back after it!! ❤❤

It isn't your fault. The other rider cut back, but it isn't entirely his fault, too. The fault lies with the organiser for allowing 1000cc to run together with smaller bikes.

Great video, but one thing I can't really tell if your being sarcastic or not?? ha ha dosen't really matter though🤣🤷♂. Have a couple pairs of cowboy boots but would never wear them on the bike because there "family heirlooms" type of thing/not wanting to ruin them. Though i do have a pair of Harley boots/no complaints with those, same exact dimensions and "feel" etc as the cowboy's and i don't ride a Harley/like em, just currently own a Triumph. All that being said, the Dainese brand boots wow they look top notch on every feature, will def have to pick some up, downside your looking at 3 bills for most of them. -Cheers
@topmaster99923 сағат бұрын
I love my cowboy boots haha. That being said I picked up a pair of dainese boots this summer and they have been absolutely amazing. Hands down the best boot for the streets I’ve ever wore! I need to make a review video on them haha

@@topmaster999 Yep, interesting to hear, never thought of using them with the bike. It's all a learning curve, the guy in front looks like he's wearing a yellow bib which notifies other's that they are Learner and to be very cautious. Yea he left a door open if you were racing but in this case it was track day and as with morning briefing all are told not to overtake on the inside of a turn. As I say it's a learning curve and one mistake you won't make again, besides we all make them, welcome to track days, glad all are fine.

I ride this track about 20 days a year. The fact that you were on a liter bike means nothing. The apex of the corner doesn't change for either. And you missed pretty much every apex in this video. Your lines were terrible....In the corner where you crash, his line was totally off, but you should have seen that he might close the window on you. I am sorry you crashed, its sucks, but your bigger problem is your lines. I'd suggest you learn your lines and learn them on fun small Moto.

I should have waited to the strait away to pass for sure. I want to get some coaching and correct my issues. At the end of the day I’m just out there to have a good time and be safe. Thanks for the advice.
@thekiwiguyusa4 күн бұрын
@@topmaster999 good attitude - having a learners mindset is key when it comes to track. I started out on the track with a liter bike because i thought my 20 years of riding on the street would mean i’d be ok but found quickly that i needed to learn the fundamental first. Best decision i made was going to a 400 then 660 to dial my fundamentals in. Now im doing A group level laps and staying ahead of the big bikes - i highly recommend coaching
@topmaster9994 күн бұрын
Next time I go to track I will have some type of coaching. I’m in the same boat you were in. I’ve rode street for 20 years but almost no track. What kind of lap times are you getting at the ridge now?
@thekiwiguyusa3 күн бұрын
@@topmaster999 i wouldn’t focus on lap times right now. Focus on your fundamental’s, and forget everything you learned on the street. Do the California Superbike school, at least up to level 4 (i’ve done it 50 times) Also, the Yamaha Champs school. And for local track days, Tracktime.bike are the best imho. My lap times are now at best sub 2 mins with the Chicane

Oof, swept you right off 😲 It's not really small bike line (usually it's the opposite) - it's the line to gain most time at the next turn (if go wide, the next one takes way more time since you're on inside)
@MuscleVirus4 күн бұрын
You'll sound stupid with the comments, the guy just needs to educate practice and ride is bike more, then he'll get better at it, we all know he could have avoided that accident no matter what side he passed on. Anyway I'm glad you are ok stay strong💪🏾 and keep riding you'll get really good at it. (Practice becomes perfect) Not perfect but good 😁.

Buddy I know that feeling, hearing you suck air just like I did. I took a corner too hot on my FZ09 and went off an elevated roadbed. I broke 8 ribs, 5 segmented, 3 nasty contusions, a messed up shoulder and collar bone. Im glad thats all but it sucked having loose broken bones crunching around. Only able to sleep in a recliner for about 2 months. Took a year to be pretty well healed. Some of the damage will be with me the rest of my days. Glad you didn't get hurt too bad!

@@topmaster999 Glad you're doing well! Im pretty good now. I can still feel slight tenderness if I put pressure on the ribs I broke. I had a deep contusion on my calf that did some nerve damage that is still there. Not causing problems and it's not a bother. Some dark scars left behind from them. I landed the bike upright but it came out from under me so fast I really don't know what happened. I was probably still 50-60mph when I slammed into the ground and went flying through the air. I think I landed about 80ft from where I hit. Hopefully I never experience that or any bike accident again.

@@topmaster999 It was on the street, on one of the few curvy, fun roads around here. I had on half of my gear. Helmet, gloves, jacket, and a hardshell backpack. I didn't have my pants or boots on. I was wearing some good tactical pants made of ripstop nylon. Luckily where I departed the bike was already grass & dirt. I did get some minor abrasions where the contusions were but no cuts, not a single hole or tear on my pants. Should have had the rest on but thankfully, no worse for it.
