I'm really wanting to get the M111XT but they are still out of stock. I've never had a hair system so this will be the first. I'll keep looking to see when they have the light brown with 40 % grey in stock. I wonder do you recommend a hairstylist do the trim and styling. I really like style your wearing in this video. i don"t know if local hair stylists would be comfortable cutting and styling it once i have it in place.

You should call around and simply ask. However, make sure it’s a reputable place with a good reputation. You want to go to someone who has been cutting hair for a few years. They can hopefully handle it. Also, a hair replacement business most times will do,just a “cut in” for a fair,price even if you didn’t purchase their expensive unit. I’m very active, ride my bike most days and wear a helmet and sweat. Is there a chance that a thin skin system would work? I’m sure lace would be more comfortable and hold up better but I’d want that undetectable front hairline.

Hey, great question. I live in Texas and ride a motorcycle and wear a helmet. The hair under it, of course looks bad when I take the helmet off but it is still secure. It is not the best environment for it but if I’m only riding for a couple of hours it works, No issues. I found the skin actually worked better than the lace. I use walkers ultra hold adhesive and I re-install every week so that helps. A bicycle helmet, I believe, would have no problems concerning the system as it’s lighter and breathes more. Thanks bro!

So much depends on your bio hair. If it is still thick, the you can do a more dense unit. However, if your natural hair is thinner you need to adjust. The hd111 usually works for all. Thanks man!

Yes, the unit has been much more successful than anticipated. Stock will,arrive soon, watch for it. As for as the installation, at this point I only do the cut in. Hey man, that’s really the easy part. Things to consider. 1. Hair color is basically either dark, medium or light with no grey or grey percentages. If you have any grey it makes the color more forgiving. 2. If there is no grey it needs to be on target. You can send a hair sample in if you are uncertain, or a picture or video consultation and they can help you make the right choice. Go for it buddy!!!

Hey Rick! I actually ended up ordering this system, I did end up returning it because it was just a tad too light density for my liking, I think it looks fantastic on you and especially this hair style. And you were right, the base material on this is super thin! Shame I didn’t keep it because I bet it feels absolutely amazing on the scalp, if only it had just a little more hair

Hey buddy! Thanks you! I’m sorry it didn’t work out. Yeah, that unit is super thin but you’re right, you can’t feel it at all. I’m sure you know this, but the model I love is the hd111. It is 4 ml and is really transparent on my head as well. It’s a lot thicker than the m111xt. You would probably love that one. Thanks for the kind words and have a great one!!!!!!

You’re a stud thank you for doing these videos. I’m 55 and have been bald for 20 years and you have given me hope that it may be possible to change that. Couple questions my hair was naturally a little thinner. Do you think the m111 would be a good choice? I worry that the hd111 would overwhelm me with too much body and freak me out. Also how long do I need to grow my hair out on the sides and back before I install and have it cut in? Thanks

Thanks for the compliment!!! Yes, the hd111 would be too much hair. The m111xt would be perfect. As far as the length of your bio hair, it depends on the style your after. I would let it grow a bit longer so there is something to work with. Those are super questions. Best of luck my buddy!!! I’m always here man!

I honestly cannot feel it on my head. I don’t do one thing to touch it up. This unit, like the hd111 just stays put.

Hey Rick, the front contour on your system looks great. Out of the box the front contour seems wide. I saw the video where you explained how you cut your system, but I couldn’t tell if you removed some of the front sides to allow for a more natural receding look. Again out of the box. It’s pretty straight across with those two flaps on either side. I’m assuming I don’t want to cut past those flaps? Appreciate your content.

Hey buddy, thanks for the great question. So, to answer. I don’t cut past the front “thin-skin” of the unit. I’ll try to explain how the look happens. I cut the extra skin off as close to the hairline as possible, all the way across to each side of where my bio hair begins. I need to draw a picture here but let me see how i can say it. The front hairline curves slightly across the front just as it is out of the box, however, when the system gets to the temple area, bio hair, the sides of the unit go back to connect with it. This gives the look that I have intentionally curved the front and I have not. So, if you look at the front hairline of the system and cut it across as wide as you need it to reach the bio temple area, but the system is further down, of course, on your forehead, so it makes a bit of a U shape but the front is exactly as it comes. Dang, I hope that makes sense. Like I said, need a pic. I’ll do a video where i can illustrate. Thanks for the great question man! If this is confusing, just drop me a comment.

Just to follow up, I realized there are a couple different options when it comes to the front contour. The M111XT has a “A” shaped front where the M101 has a “CC” shape. I went ahead and purchased the M111XT to try it out and I agree with everything you said. Feels like you’re wearing nothing which is awesome, however, I re-lived the trauma of losing my hair the density was so damn low :-). One thing I noticed was that it was much easier to clean. I use ghost bond and with a little solvent it wiped right up. Typically that solvent makes the glue turn into a big goopy mess, I’m realizing it has a lot to do with the system. The other thing I noticed about this system was that a buckled and wrinkled quite easily when applying. Basically, it’s a lot less rigid being as thin as it is I guess like every other system there are pros and cons.
