I'm with your wife. I saw one of your other videos and you must have been wearing the 40 and i thought it looked like the bomb. That said, this 60 looks great too, so either way is fantastic! I wore pieces several years back and I'm going to start again. I'll search your videos for advice on base types. I golf a lot so I'm guessing i need a mesh top with poly perimeter and French front. I'm a cheap bastard and Super hair or whatever it's called looks pretty reasonable. Thanks very much for sharing the grey percentages, knowing what I'm seeing is uber helpful. I'm a musician too, well drummer anyway, so we gotta stick together! 😂. To add more, i has some ideas on your color, try a 50 percent gray, or get a 40 and have gray added to the front, best of both worlds!

@@countach711 dude, you started my day with a laugh! The one question to answer on the unit base is about an exposed hairline. To expose or not to expose, that is the question! I wear hd111 and also really like the m101v. I am in Texas humidity and ride a motorcycle with a skin hair system. No problems for me but I do get the breath ability with a partial lace system. With my color, your suggestion is great but it’s a special order, and since I am a cheap bastard I’m going to get 60 grey and have my wife low lite a bit of dark in the back. How does that sound? Oh, and drummers need love too! Peace!

Great video! I have worn hair for 33 years and have tried all kinds of tapes and adhesives. I have an extremely oily scalp and can only get about 5 days max out of an attachment. Even using a scalp blocker, any longer than 4-5 days and the tape turns to goo which can get into the lace and cause me a lot of time in clean up. I use NX-Gen unifying agent for front hairline attachment and it has been fantastic. I have had some adhesives turn white after attachment in high humidity or when I have perspired soon after attachment. The NX-Gen seems more resistant to turning white. However, we are all different in our body PH and oil secretion and you have to find what works best for you.
@thehighlevelman
@thehighlevelman 6 күн бұрын
Amen to all of that! My scalp is oily as well. I use a skin system. Excuse of easier clean- up. If it’s cooler weather, I can do 7- 8 days on an install. I usually change it every 5 because I like the feel of a fresh install. I have not tried NX-Gen. good to know! Peace my friend and thanks for the response!!!!!

Hello Rick, blessings. I've been watching a lot of your vids and man have I learned a lot. I'm fairly new to hair systems. I started out with a French lace and PU. I normally have it cut and comb it kind of forward to cover the tape, because honestly, it doesn't really give a slick back hairline look. Moving forward. I want to start using this exact system and was wondering which syle/number color you use. I'd like to go a tad lighter since my bio is almost all white except for the back, which is a little grayish. Thanks in advance Rick, keep up the awesome videos, love it. Peace brother

That Rick, unfortunately, is something that is sometimes, not always, but sometimes out of the buyers control. I can't tell you how many times I ordered 'light density' only to get something's that more medium or even heavy density.... This, unfortunately, is the practical side of being a 'wearer'. Things don't always show up as you imagined them to be. This is most certainly due to the mass production of these systems and the "process". Your first system may have been ventilated, and/or "poked" in the case of skin systems, by the employee "Lin". The next time you order it's SooLee that's making it. And so the unexpected, and unpredictable, errors in things like density, color, gray percentages and so on are introduced and can make this process quite unpredictable to say the least. Remember, all these parameters are subjective and one person's idea of "medium density" is another's idea of "light density".

Happy New Year Rick!! Starting this having hair on my head process. Growing out my bio hair sucks... it's growing in but I've pretty much shaved it for a long time so it's coming in on the sides kinda growing in in all different directions. Getting some length to it will help to see how it lays. Looking forward to getting it to at least 1-2 inches of growth so I will be wearing hats for awhile lol. I ordered the men's grey color ring samples to see where I fall. The biggest thing I notice on the many many many videos I watched is guys not have enough length on there bio hair to blend it right. Once I get the bio hair length longer I can pick the hair color and grey mix. If I can't get a stock sample of a hair system that matches close enough can you recommend a permanent or demi hair color line to get an even better match for the bio hair to the hair system?

Hi Rick, I'm 69 years old and still have all my hair except for a slight recession in the sides in the front, which has been there since my late twenties and frankly it would look like I was wearing a hairpiece if I still had a straight across hairline at my age. So why am I watching your channel? I guess it is because I've always been someone that enjoyed looking for toupees on TV and have have even tried spotting them (God forgive me) during church services.
