I'll never understand why reviewers don't talk about battery life differences when comparing the Pro and Air. From what I have read and watched, there is significant difference in their battery lives. Something not to be missed!

as an ipad air user, the battery does go down fast comparing it to my iPhone 15 pro. I only use my iPad during class and when doing homework so I don't need the pro ones with all their extra features. But I just hope that Apple will release a new iPad air with decent battery life on their next release.

Good feedback! To answer your question practically, all iPads have the similar, if not the same battery life. Minor differences like screen brightness and timeout impact the Apple's 10-hours of battery life.

@@ItsCaputo uhhh can you please do a battery test? From what I have seen and read online the Air is significantly worse with battery. On paper they all have 10 hours. In practice I think the Pro gets something like 30% more

Love the pro for the extra speakers and higher resolution screen! I have the 11-inch m4 pro cellular that I use for work and content consumption. I also have the magic keyboard and apple pencil pro I use with it. I have also been using for cloud gaming as I have found out works really well on my iPad. I love having one device to accompany me on my work trips and I can use to kick back and chill after a long day.

When apple makes a 2 in one touch screen I will spend the money As of right now the PC market has caught up to apple and even surpassed it at a lower cost. I own apple products and love them but get on board with the rest of the world.

I have an iPad Pro 11” and am thinking about going to the Air 12” and getting, maybe a Logitech keyboard. I would be using it for email, browsing the web, mostly. The 11” screen seems small to me. I like the bigger screen so I can see better. Am I going backwards by looking at the Air? I really don’t think I need to spend all that money on a Pro 12”. Thanks.

May just be my opinion but, I think they should’ve made the Pro to where it was compatible with the older accessories. Now, if someone was wanting to get the newer accessories, I could see why Apple would make it to where you had to get a newer iPad to get those accessories.

That makes so much sense because who wants to spend money if they don't have to do so. Depending on which iPad Pro you're upgrading from, the M2 iPad Air might make more sense if you consider the cost of the accessories.

The 11" is a great starting point for most people because it's highly portable while still being able to function like a traditional computer when connected to a monitor with a mouse and keyboard. Regarding M2 vs m4, there very little real-world difference in video editing because apps like CapCut, Final Cut, Divinci, etc. are highly optimized for iPadOS. What's your workflow look like and how much do you expect to use the iPad for editing?

@@ItsCaputo alot of studying for certs, video watching, editing with FCP. mostly editing gaming clips. dont really know how much editing i would do just yet but when i do itll mostly be on the ipad. creating thumbnails for myself for said clips
