The intake sounds are amazing, but what really gets me every time is the dark brown engine sound when revving it up from very low rpm's. At exactly 2:51 when the overtaking of the Suzuki starts, the straight six puts on it's Barry White voice and sings "doobedoobedoobedoooo...." Just listen to it with headphones....breathtaking....!

Berry! NLD e36 320i is nice. in my opinion the best not M engine for e36. only 2 litres but 6 cyl. i like that combination. i had one too once. isnt fast, but feels like a racing car. no eletronic nonsense in it.

A 6-cylinder e36 is a cool car, and iconic in its own way. Getting rarer too. With hard work and dedication there’s nothing at all to stop you getting a CSL some day, but in the meantime enjoy your e36 - bottom line, BMWs are awesome!
